I just started watching, and after having a vacation in the pnw, they got one thing right....

I have a few stories- but here’s the one I decided on sharing this year. It’s a longer one:

You broke down the problem with most netflix shows. There is just too much going on and not enough introspective moments.

Qualley’s ... wide-eyed wonder at the bleak fuckery of it seemed designed to make this a fish-out-of-water tale about an outsider getting a temporary taste of what it’s like to be a working-class victim of domestic violence.

There’s another season coming!  I don’t think the ending was tidy.  I think it depicted a moment/ swath of time where she could feel relief...before her mom’s problems and her dipshit ex start dragging her back down.

Argh! Ghost train! I feel like you don’t get many ghost train stories nowadays, which is a shame. Great story!

I’m much too late for anyone to see this. But I’m posting because this literally happened to me LAST NIGHT: 10-10-21.

I work in a historic house and 100% am team ghost here. Dont touch the objects. It’s bad for them, we worked hard to take care of and place them, and you wouldn’t want some random people moving your stuff. Please let the ghost know we are hiring.

Horror fiction has its place, but this is not it. Good story for somewhere else, though. Maybe try Reddit?

omg what does that even mean “one of the bad ones”?!?!?

dude they have to be real stories

THAT’S ENOUGH INTERNET FOR TODAY. Thanks for the nightmares. 😩

“December 1941"

And this, my dears, is exactly why you get big, thick, wooden dowels or heavy broomsticks and cut them to fit in the tracks of the sliding glass doors when the door is closed. The entire back wall of our house — both downstairs and upstairs - is just a wall of sliding glass doors that open out onto the woods. You can

Dude, that was Chuck Cunningham! He famously went upstairs in season two of Happy Days... and never came back down.

Is this Bainbridge? I don’t think it can be Vashon based on your description of the building.

Was this on Bainbridge Island? We went there this past summer.

Seriously! We also don’t need to know the entire history of your town, the layout of the streets, the fact that one time something horrible happened within a 250 mile radius but not actually anywhere near where your story takes place, etc. You don’t need to pad the story out with a bunch of irrelevant information.

Is that the Moran School on Bainbridge?

This story is beautifully written about all the kinds of things that can haunt us
