I’m suddenly missing John Belushi

TT-boned

“Ran good, needs minor work, prob just a tune up. Engine already out but have all the pieces. Hmu No lowballers I kno wut I got”

After reading that headline, I involuntary read the entire article in the voice of Large Marge.

Yeah, but that’s waaaayyyyy more efficient than running gas through a hose and literally burning it to light the road with the flame of a lantern. Just like it’s more efficient to not cover an electric car in screens.

And here’s a life size one for scale too:

Hate to admit it, but Taurus had a great idea for how to implement an armrest and center console in a bench seat configuration. Armrest flips down, and portion of seat cushion flips forward to reveal storage bins and cup holders underneath it.

I don’t understand the trend for covering electric concept cars in giant power-sucking video screens and accent lighting. They’re wasting power (i.e. range) for no reason. Imagine how much power that two-foot wide LCD much suck compared to a few old-fashioned round gauges.

Just take a moment to appreciate how well-realized the Austin A35 from the Wallace and Gromit movie Curse of the Were-Rabbit is. It even has the starting crank hole in the bumper!

You’d have to be on a pretty steep hill, and parking on a hill would lock your valuables away.

In my mind I’m casting this story- like a movie.

76 years old and going out in a high speed crash in a muscle car. I can think of worse ways to sign off.

Never change, Jason. Never change.

Think about a hypothetical scenario in the near-future when a government or corporation can remotely restrict the range of a car due to one reason or other. Or if you think that’s overly dramatic and unlikely, how about if your car’s manufacturer goes bankrupt or is bought up by some other company that either decides
