We mostly kept the boat stable while loading and unloading stuff from rigs so they didn’t have to tie off.

Maybe that’s the difference. All my stuff was on top of the water so we had extra data from wind and more predictable currents.
Nope, I thought I was keeping up with the new stuff, but I think it’s official. I’m just old. I don’t know when it happened.
That top picture looks like a civic. The bottom one looks a lot sportier.
He wanted to call it E, but wasn’t allowed to. The 3 is the E backwards. It’s not related to BMW.
The BMW doesn’t come with turn signals, and it weaves and cuts people off randomly. To be fair, that’s all BMWs, not just this one.
I thought that was all it was used for, and was temporarily freaked out when my 13 yr old niece said she used it.
Where did you get that data? I used to use MRUs, with gyrocompasses and GPS and some other equipment, and we could lose the GPS and keep on going with no problem, as long as we knew where we were when we started. This was 10+ years ago. The tech has definitely gotten better since then.
You could definitely challenge her to a fight, but she’d win.
I’ve put 2 of my 3 kids through a program like this. The third one is going soon.
Right! That’s why something like Sugarland’s Stay works so well. Very simple shots and lighting, but you can mute the video and still get the feeling. Her eyes, shaky lips, throat, the way she fiddles with her necklace, everything is evoking pain.
It’s just not the right makeup. The lighting is bad too. It’s the wrong temperature for what they are trying to do. Maybe they went cheap and just used some lamps or something. That and the camera work is shoddy. Gotta start somewhere though. They’ll get better.
The entire point of rolling coal for some of these people is because they don’t like Obama and think that by polluting they are somehow getting back at him. This is akin to a kid shitting their pants to get back at their parent who will eventually do the laundry. Sure, it’s a pain for the parent, but they’re still the…
I’d like to read more, but this sounds pretty good. Very much different than the Pro-Life movement, whose achievements are exclusively billboards and closing health centers for poor people.
True.
I never said the punishment was for poor performance. I know it was for the email. It seems like the VPs team had been shitty for a while though, and this was the eventual reaction. There is absolutely no reason for someone to be an ass simply because they outrank you, and it sounds like that was happening for a while…
Michelle Obama, the only woman who can say “Bless your heart” without saying bless your heart.
Maybe. I’ve gotten the “just do it this way” suggestion before, and it’s usually an idea that won’t work, and that’s why it’s not done that way. I generally don’t think it’s acceptable for senior management to be telling employees how to do their job if their job is some sort of skill unless the management used to be…
Of course they shouldn’t. There’s a typo. It’s really:
Yeah, the whole “executives are special” mindset doesn’t sit well with me. I’m sure she felt that she couldn’t go to management because it was already the senior vp that was giving her trouble. Unfortunately that mindset is how we get shit products and tons of executives that are just dead weight. Most companies say…
