If you tie it to profit, they will just find accounting methods to always claim the show was a loss. Hollywood accounting is a well-known phenomenon. Isn’t it suspicious that Warner thinks Order of the Phoenix was a $167 million loss?

This is the same guy who made the very unknown Guardian of the Galaxy a household name. He also had a hand in b-list characters in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. If there’s any studio head who is willing to use lesser known characters in the DC Comics world, I imagine it would be him.
Big budget IP movies aren’t going anywhere. Disney, at the very least isn’t just going to let the MCU peter out before they get to do something, anything, with the X-Men and FF that they finally got a hold of. And if Gunn isn’t making DC movies, then he’s pretty much out of a job. What will happen (what should already…
My interest in Swamp Thing is that Adrienne Barbeau was in the 80s movie adaptation
I’ve been mocked for holding onto my DVD collection. This is why I held onto my DVD collection.
Hopefully he’s picking mangoes somewhere nicer than this craphole.
Roxy Wasserman, the reformed succubus from The Middleman.
I don’t think it probably counts, but The Devil from Reaper, gloriously played by Ray Wise, was one of the first that I thought of. Sure, he can sometimes get scary when he doesn’t get what he want, but most of the time he’s just an affable dad type looking out for his son!
Really, “spending a bunch of money updating and renovating a restaurant that has value to the community” might be the best thing the South Park guys have done together.
It’s funny, I don’t think of okra as slimy at all. Maybe people are cooking it wrong? Even my boiled okra isn’t slimy. (You have to simmer it for a long time with tomatoes.) Mushrooms cooked well y aren’t any of those offensive textures. And the only soggy tres leches I’ve had are ones where the cake hasn’t been proper…
It’s a decent show from Joe Cornish. The ghost effects are a little ridiculous, but there are some legit creepy moments. Nice little world-building, too. It’s too bad they dumped it despite the popularity.
Can I just say how much I appreciate this being a list and not a slideshow?
I highly recommend this film which was also very good with the meta commentary on top of being a lot of fun.
Barbara Crampton and Linnea Quigley are two of my favorite “scream queens” but interestingly they often don’t fit the “final girl” mold exactly
I think of Black Christmas as being even less of a slasher than Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which is itself merely a proto-slasher. TCM ends with its final girl escaping the (masked) killer. Black Christmas does not (the emphasis on a mistaken identity for the killer puts it a little bit closer to giallo). The character…
Whaddya mean? His Mossad training is what allowed him to resist being brainwashed by Klytus.
If I remember correctly, that Ming the Merciless assignment didn’t work out too well.
And no Red Rock West, which was his best “normal” performance.
Even him in Drive Angry is worth adding on the list because it’s stupid Fun and Cage is just so Cage in it.
I have diabetes, i am just hoping for some regular un-sweet fucking tea. I sure iced tea would make a comeback. Restaurants with decent iced tea.
