You’re right that there’s only been two major expansions, but I’d say all the Living World content is probably the size of both of those combined. Maybe it’s harder to keep people invested in that when it’s drip-fed so slowly?

Never been to an FGC event but this pretty closely echoes my experience at TI last year. Come finals I was dehydrated as shit and had the worst hunger pains of my life, because the arena food was ridiculously overpriced ($5 CAD for a standard bottle of water, almost $10 for a tiny little hotdog) and nobody in my group…
I’m in Canada and while I appreciate the transparency, that shit is an absolute plague on user experience. I have to cliuck through like 6 dialog prompts before I can even see the content I came for.
VICE has been having an absolutely shit few years, profit-wise, and a lot of people suspect Waypoint will be the first to get the axe
Thought you guys brought back Patrick Klepek, who we all know is the real authority on Mario Maker
The Milo one was hilarious, he gave that dumb fuck just enough rope to hang himself and ruin his own career.
Same. I’m fairly firmly in the “Joe Rogan is alright, most of the time” camp.
And why don’t the laid off workers get say? Hell, why dont the non laid off workers get a say in this corporation’s decisions?
Mostly just ego, but technically it can be monetized. High-karma accounts are more likely to come across as having a sense of authority, so there are a lot of sites dedicated to buying/selling them so companies can shill products and do political astroturfing without seeming too obvious.
Honestly all the main gaming subs are infested with this garbage right now. People saw that it’s an easy way to get a shitton of free karma/reddit gold (both of which have no inherent value, but hey, that’s what happens when you gamify discourse) and jumped on the bandwagon.
Yeah digging through public post history is absolutely not against the ToS.
In that case, why are you so fixated on hating something meant for 11 year-olds?
One of my best theater experiences was seeing that really awful Divergent movie. Pretty much the exact same story as you - I was with a small group of friends and there was like 1 other group and a few stragglers - by the halfway point we were all actively mocking that trainwreck, it was great.
As for an actual explanation, it’s possible Marvel couldn’t get the rights to use real-world fighters. I know in a lot of movies that use real military equipment, they actually have to work closely with the US military and there are some rules in order to portray the military in the best light.
My take on the final scene is that the timelines/realities/whatever finally converged; if not in a literal, in-universe sense then certainly from our perspective as the audience. The Nadia that went through the loop helped the Alan that didn’t, and the Alan that went through the loop helped the Nadia that didn’t.
Same here, though I wouldn’t really call it a boycott. I’m not avoiding a potential GotG3 out of principle, I’m just straight-up not interested unless Gunn’s attached.
Given that he’s now working on the DCEU, I think it’s pretty safe to say Gunn’s feelings on Disney fall somewhere between “fuck Disney” and “fuuuuuck Disney”
Tell that to Ogrish
Yeah, I’m not the most educated guy by any means but I thought this was fairly common knowledge among the more scientific fitness communities. Intermittent fasting is pretty effective for most people if you can stick to a proper schedule, and breakfast... well, it’s kind of in the name.
