But two of your links are explicitly female-targeted sex toys. In the porn one, it’s pretty clear that CES wasn’t fully comfortable with it and imposed some pretty heavy restrictions on them:

That’s the equivalent of scooping your eye out with a melonballer just so you have an excuse to wear a Gucci eyepatch.

How do you release a gaming monitor in 2019 without VESA support? Jesus, that sounds like a complete disaster.

I mean there is no “problem” here, I’m just saying that it’s kind of missing the mark to paint every Twitch viewer as some sexist manbaby when a ton of them are children who don’t know anything about these issues.

True. I’m not sure how it works in the States, but here in Canada the victim actually can’t decline to press charges - whether or not a case is pursued is decided by the Crown Prosecutor. IMO it’s a really good system and often serves to protect victims in that exact scenario.

Says a group of males who feel persecuted that this guy was banned.

So theoretically, what would happen if China decided to be super petty and ram their rover into whatever the US has on there? Would we see the world’s first episode of Lunar Battlebots?

Out of all the Netflix shows, Disney would be insane to not bring back Luke Cage. Black Panther did absolute fucking gangbusters and had a pretty big cultural impact, there’s clearly a market for superhero media that isn’t, well, more white dudes in spandex.

Clear/hologram phones are so dumb though. Say goodbye to any privacy when using your device around others - and really, what problem is it solving that can’t be solved by just moving your phone a fraction of an inch to peer past it?

As a Canadian who doesn’t really follow UK politics, was that the bit about UNIT being shut down due to lack of “support from our allies?” I just assumed that was supposed to be another Trump jab or something

A lot of third-world countries are ahead of the US by, well... most metrics. Healthcare, literacy, environmental policy, criminal reform, governmental/corporate accountability, etc. Last I checked it was slipping on the Freedom Index, too.

The monsters are pretentious multi-thousand word writeups about the true meaning of Birdbox.

It was like 2 years ahead of its time in graphics and technical capabilities

seem obsessed with ostentatious displays of wealth, some degree of unspoken criminality, and racism/homophobia/anti-semitism.

Kind of wild that the Wii technically had better Netflix support than the Switch.

Would be really nice if you could do this for other regions, or at least specify that you’re only talking about Netflix US. As a Canadian basically none of the titles on this list even apply to me.

Bootlicking: Not Just For Americans

So that’s intentional, then? I’ve noticed it happening on and off for the last year or so - sometimes a page will hang and I’ll look at the adblock icon only to see 5,000+ ads blocked as it’s counting every single comment as an ad.

Not really comparable. This isn’t competition, considering Discord and Epic are owned by the same company.
