Agreed, VR has been super disappointing so far. If games have to be designed around limited movement like this, you’re missing out on a ton of experiences that an increased level of control over your head/hands just doesn’t make up for.

Neat tech demo, but that’s about it imo. Movement is a key aspect of Doom’s gameplay, and removing that in favor of the dreaded teleport mechanic makes it decidedly not Doom.
How was Crackdown 2, anyway? I ended up dropping out of the Xbox ecosystem before it came out but I have really fond memories of the first game - initially only bought it for the Halo 3 beta but it end up being one of my favourite games of the generation.

As someone who has a vague interest in the WW1 setting but is far from a history buff - and I suspect most BF1 players probably fall into a similar camp - I actually wouldn’t even know about the female troops if people hadn’t mentioned it on here and other articles. Likely just a happy coincidence, I doubt they’re…
Battlefield: Tsar Wars
Sure, but those people aren’t entitled to playing in - and potentially ruining the fun of - other peoples’ lobbies. If people don’t wanna play with someone because of their connection, that’s perfectly valid.
I agree, but I think it takes an extra level of shittiness to go into someone else’s country and act like this. Absolutely embarrassing.
saying that it was part of his on-stream “character,” who mostly just talks about littering as “satire” of Taiwan’s public trash disposal infrastructure, which he finds lacking.
It’s Ubisoft, not Ubihard.
Yeah, I dunno where the hell that guy lives but in most places it’s absolutely illegal to hold your phone/GPS like that while driving. That’s why they make mounts for your dash.
Uh. Isn’t this literally, explicitly what Blizzard said they were going to do around the time Season 3 was starting up? I dunno why anyone would be surprised by this.
In some ways, BioWare employees say, this initiative is great. Collaborating across studios can lead to some solid creative mind-melding, and it’s far easier to recruit in Montreal and Austin than it is in Edmonton, a city best known for its obscene temperatures and giant shopping mall.
If only the vehicular combat in GTA V had the feeling and depth of Spyhunter. SpyHunter 2 was one of my favourite Xbox games, definitely a hidden gem.
I assumed it was just a slot for a smartphone so you could load up the Pip Boy app.
Maybe it’s because I play on PC but I never really had a problem with Borderlands’ controls. The jumping was a bit floaty but that’s my only real complaint.
Is it just the motion blur throwing me off or is 2048 not running at 60FPS in that video?
Is this a JoJo reference?
Borderlands 2, especially with the DLC, always seemed to be what Destiny was trying to be but could never really manage to pull off. The shooting in Destiny is alright, but the MMO aspects feel incredibly half-baked even compared to something as limited as Borderlands’ co-op.
Still too expensive.
