“Gee, this weed is great but I wish it tasted more like burnt hair and patchouli oil”

Oh hey, I remember being pretty hard on this when you guys first posted about it. Seems like they’re making great progress, though!

This is why you’re my favourite Kotaku editor.

Fair enough! I guess my Western bias was really showing there.

I don’t have any concrete data to back this up, but I’m 1010% positive he did. Literally nobody outside Poland even knew what The Witcher was before the games (mostly 2, the first game was a bit of a cult classic but still pretty niche) came out.

Man, I used to love that show in like 4th grade (almost finished Uni now). Think I checked out like midway through the Hueco Mundo arc though, it just got suuuuper tedious.

Maybe it was just a cheapo monitor with plastic backing? But even then, cheapo monitors aren’t usually of the curved ultrawide variety. But like... Why would they fake it though? Nobody on either end would have anything to gain.

Yeah, definitely a certain level of “This is fuckin’ dumb, sure why not” needed to appreciate Yoko’s games. They’re dumb and weird and sometimes kind of bad (though this one is fantastic) and I love them all.

I’m by no means a lawyer (and also Canadian) but isn’t that what Manslaughter is? Like, if someone goes around sneaking up on old people and one of them has a heart attack and dies, that’s still on you. Not that I buy this line of reasoning for a second, but if that’s truly how the judge sees it he should, at the very

Ditto. I have this idea for a horror story I’ll probably never write where it’s all about real life “glitching” out. Like, the idea that for reasons completely unbeknownst to us the laws of physic could just stop working is absolutely horrifying to me. Imagine you’re just walking along and all of a sudden every atom

wish it was a poop emoji tbh

Yeah, let’s maybe not hold up that game as an example of progressiveness considering it has a lot of really awful cultural appropriation?

Not really related but is anyone else bummed that only one of the Joycons has an IR sensor? Not that it’s really even a huge selling point but they could’ve done some neat stuff with multiplayer swordfighting and stuff.

Skateboarding hasn’t even crossed my mind in close to 15 years, but damn if those early THPS games haven’t irrevocably influenced my taste in music.

Seriously? Oh my god that is going to drive me insane.

It really bothers me that the triforce isn’t even centered.

Yeah. I mean shit, one of our students was killed in the Nice incident last year and they didn’t even do this.

My University issued a statement a few weeks ago advising students to avoid travel to the US and basically cancelling all school-funded trips down there, too.

I have a lifetime McAfee subscription and every month I get either a body part or a bag of cocaine in the mail.

Yeah, I didn’t really wanna come off as offensive - apologies if I did. Just a general observation, obviously it’s a bit presumptuous but as someone who also has a family member with Autism (though high-functioning) I just recognize a lot of the behavior patterns in the wider Smash community.
