This comment is most definitely going to be taken the wrong way, but Smash in particular attracts a lot of the less... Sociable people. People that, perhaps, could be placed on some sort of spectrum related to one’s ability to recognize and react appropriately to social cues.

This is why I stopped pirating games tbh. It wasn’t out of guilt or doing the right thing - I just found that, with pirated games, the second I encountered something I didn’t find 110% exhilarating (or even a section that felt too challenging), even for a few minutes, it was so easy to say “screw this, on to the next

It’s pretty neat - better than the Gear VR and other budget options, but still not as good as a full-fledged Rift or Vive. The controller/pointer thing really helps tie the experience together and lets you do stuff that most of the other phone-based options don’t.

A lot of the big-name Dota teams (some of which also have teams for other games too) are actually funded by Chinese corporations and unfathomably rich businessmen. Trying to find out who owns what names and how the money’s flowing is a really interesting rabbit hole.

Maybe not, but it still undermines the organization’s credibility in the eyes of the public.

That’s not necessarily true, the Vita got a second revision.

This is why you never buy first generation hardware.

Patch Notes:

Kind of - there are 2 real benefits to the Aegis. The first is the item itself which, when held by a player, revives that player when they die. The second benefit is the ~500ish gold your entire team gets when you kill Roshan.

It’s the equivalent of clicking “Maybe” on a Facebook invite. You know you’re not gonna go, but you do it anyway to be polite.

Minor point but I don’t really understand how switching to the tablet/TV that fast is impressive? I mean, you’re just doing the equivalent of unplugging an HDMI cable and I’ve been able to do the same with my phone (through wireless) for a few years now.

Man, what a whirlwind. Drew is amazing, this whole meme situation is hilarious, and it’s gonna be really sad to see him go. Dude started as just a faceless production guy but grew to be a pillar of GB, the site won’t be the same without him.

I think I’m going to screenshot this comment and save it for future use. Well said.

Is this animated by the guy that did those Streetlight music videos? I really dig that style.

while on PC some multiplayer matches would cause the entire game to slow down; I’m not talking lag, I mean everything, from moving the camera around to drawing cards in a Blitz match, which in a competitive environment was hardly ideal.

A lot of the armor in Dark Souls does that, I can’t say 100% for sure but I always thought it was because if the armor didn’t move with the character model like that it would clip through.

Haven’t played much Destiny (not a fan of the faux-MMO thing), but wow is that a straight-up Brute Shot in the first pic?

Are you saying you don’t?

Does Blizzard really have a leg to stand on here though? This seems like something that would be considered parody/fair use by any competent legal person if it ever went that far, and while the Patreon may be entering a legal grey area if it’s billed more as a “support the artists” thing and not “directly pay for

Seriously, what’s the appeal of these gaudy, overdesigned trash heaps? If I’m going to go all-out on a chair, I’ll get a nice Eames or something.
