VOTE: Process Explorer

@prashant90: It's tab mix plus all right...there's a setting for it. :)

@MattPadgett: Agreed! Although...i suppose I can survive with the keyboard-based g+l label shortcut, providing i can remember what all my labels are called.

personally, I like to rebuild my firefox from scratch, at least when it comes to installing extensions; i've found that that eliminates some of the clutter left behind by old, uninstalled extensions and such. I do import settings for some of the extensions, though.

vote: MP3tag

@enchantedgoose: I'm with everyone else here; if firefox is doing that for you, stick to a stable version and actually pay attention to what extensions you're messing with; firefox sure doesn't do that on its own.

@daniel.monkeyfun: usually, probably not, but that's a good point—-the user should at least know, even if they don't care.

@BOK9000: Hey, we just think it's a good piece of work. If microsoft comes out with a browser better than this, then we'd praise that.

@-=Ben=-: It may be faster than firefox, but I still use firefox for its extensibility. But if I need speed, up comes chrome. It's actually an excellent browser in my opinion.

@Yodat: I'm having trouble as well—-and the instructions on [pendrivelinux.com] didn't work either...I got an error on startup that it couldn't find the kernel or something. O.o

vote: firefox portable and executor

Did anyone ever find a Mac alternative?

Definitely my favorite of the menu forks on portableapps.com, although I ditched it for executor a while back. An excellent app. :)

@JoshuaMyrtilus: Yup, this is about what I use...invis at the start for all, then sign in to all if I need them.

@jrobie: I'm in a similar situation; I happen to use executor, and so I can apply a hotkey, but yeah. Doesn't seem like an exe is necessary...

I have to say that I tried U3, and really didn't like it...too unextensible. [Portableapps.com] and [portablefreeware.com] are the places to go, although I may soon be dumping my PortableAppsMenuR30 for Executor. In general, however, there's just so much more that the open-source community has to offer!

@Theborg3of5: Whoops, my bad. In any case, has anyone else noticed the serious lack of the usual useful search box for contacts on this site?
