Am I missing something? I also use gReader Pro, but I still see everything in the in-app browser unless I click the globe icon at the bottom (which jumped me out to Chrome anyway). Is the only benefit here that you’re not technically leaving gReader to use Chrome?

Your point about ^v is valid, though I've personally found that it often looks cleaner to use that rather than putting in the text of the clipboard character-by-character.

Ha! That this could be done in AHK was definitely my first thought on reading this post. :)

Another suggestion for those who follow many sites (including this one, of course) - check out an RSS reader. My current setup is Feedly on my computer with the gReader (no, not google-affiliated) app that pulls from it. gReader can cache articles/images/etc, too.

Thanks! They mostly just get added as I notice something getting often-misspelled, or else a relatively long word that I type a lot that I could expand.

Sure, here's my main hotstrings script. A couple notes in case you're not as familiar with hotstrings:

The windows key is especially useful when you can override default windows hotkeys like Win+1-9, Win+f (for custom search), and a variety of others with something like AutoHotkey. (autohotkey.com)

Jajalop,

Precisely this. I'm in college, so if I leave something somewhere, I may not get it back. It can also help to get into a routine whenever you leave a room - take another glance at your seat, desk, area around it, etc, and check for phone, wallet, keys, and so on.

VirtuaWin is a very lightweight one that I've moved to recently. (http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/)

Everything is wonderful!

I've got a little plastic red panda that's the same for me! :)

That looks like a user icon - they show up when you've got multiple users enabled in chrome. Of course, those normally show up in the top left corner, but I think he's on the right because it's a Mac.

Found in the reviews for the extension, I had to restart chrome before they showed up after making this change. All good now, though.

Out of curiosity, are you on the stable or beta channel? I'm seeing a similar thing, but I'm definitely on beta, so that could easily affect things.

I know this is a bit old, but in general, you can use something like AutoHotkey to easily capture the windows key for shortcuts.

Hmm, it looks like it's been disabled for now - there's an option for it on my profile page, but it's greyed out.

Honestly, I don't see anything like that with AdBlock Plus going. I've found replacements and improvements for all the other necessary extensions that I used in Firefox, too.

Vimium actually isn't a bad replacement - not quite the same, but quite customizable and works well.

I know this is rather late, but TamperMonkey (GreaseMonkey's Chrome version, basically) is probably your best bet, I'm using it actively right now.
