Well, no, but that kind of came and went two or three years ago.

Ugh! I helped an office move once and I don’t know what I breathed in but my lips were painfully raw for the rest of the day and I got a nasty sinus infection and sore throat. For the next year, I would get regular sinus infections that I never got so often before the move or after the end of that year. I can’t

I’d draw a line at two days.

...Too busy to bathe? What...

You’re comparing watermelons with apples. Sure, they’re both fruits, but one is MUCH bigger (and has lots of annoying seeds in it). So yeah, false equivalencies. 🤷‍♂️

Now, the comment could believably be interpreted two ways. Carrey was either being obviously sexual for laughs, or he was coming onto Long during the interview.

Sorry, your false equivalencies won’t work on me.

Final Fantasy VII.

I’m only saying these particular designs represent the ridiculous state of Final Fantasy games after FFIX. Not every single design.

I meant ridiculous in a pejorative sense.

That stupid look on the Chocobo’s face or on Carbuncle’s face... that’s Final Fantasy now.

“They’re subquests that are integral to experiencing the rest of the game.”

Breath of Fire IV is still my favorite but... man, I could tell they rushed the ending. It felt like there was a half or a third of an act just missing at the end. They didn’t have time so they just rushed players to the end. I don’t think the end credits were even localized? Am I remembering that right?

Well, it might be a good thing if Heather didn’t notice. That kind of fan service is better when it’s not IN YOUR FACE, like in the Star Wars films.

The rewards are irrelevant. What’s relevant is the gameplay loop featuring the Chocobos in Final Fantasy X, which is unsubstantial.

Possibly that person who asked if the movie would please hardcore Sonic fans.

Yeah, all that stuff that deals with Chocobos amounts to very little, relatively speaking. There was more going on in previous FF titles. So any Chocobo-related activities... streamlined.

There’s barely any interaction with chocobos. The save spheres HEAL you so you don’t need an inn or restorative items, like a tent. There’s no gear to equip, just a weapon. The game is extremely linear.

I’m sure there are plenty who would argue against paintings and statues not having souls, especially if they’re being figurative, like I was. This is cold technology, in my view.

...What is with the extremely superficial reasons for disliking a game?
