I’ve listened to music for the DQ games from IV to IX, and now XI and, frankly, I just don’t see what’s wrong with it. Much like the games themselves, the music seems uniquely oldschool, and that’s it’s charm.

Well, I mean, I said it’s arguable the 3DS version is a worse title. At least they give you the option to play the original game with none of the additions, though you do have to pay for the original artwork. Also, you don’t HAVE to buy the tropey hot springs DLC featuring a naked Aht. 🤷♂️
Legend of Legacy and Alliance Alive deserve some recognition.
