I was GOING to say that those lures are inaccurate, as in the anime, you see them use lures based on humans:

The chibi ‘sprites’ look too plastic-y and kind of cheap? The unchanging faces are kind of unnerving. The rest of the overworld looks... fine, but its the character models in the overworld that really stand out to me

Yep.

So this is from the Pokemon Fit line of plushies, known as Pokemon Sitting Cuties in the US. I have been collecting the line even though I have no room to display, and now I will have to dig it out and check.

The shark is Hololive’s V-Tuber Gawr Gura.

Laughs in weeb playing with Japanese VAs

I hate this.  Have an upvote

The Super Star and Super Mushroom with March’s update makes me wonder if we are FINALLY getting the various Nintendo memorabilia

I’m not sure I’m quite following you, but I would say I’m not a fan of the art direction Pokemon has been leading towards. They’re a bit more cartoony in their proportions and design, while a lot of older Pokemon felt like, body-shape-wise, they could exist in the real world. It’s not universal, and I think there’s

The models themselves are functional.  I think a lot of the canned animations used are pretty lackluster in showing personality though.

It’s kind of sad how much personalities these designs have as sprites that they don’t as models in the actual game

After a long break thanks to moving out to live by myself and the costs that entails, I finally purchased Vol 21 on Keroro Gunso, which sadly was the last one to get an English release before Tokyopop folded.  Also, as of this year, I finally finished the Keroro Gunso anime, which overall became disappointing.

I miss Picross 3D

Pretty sure Nintendo said they were making a Detective Pikachu for Switch at some point (back when the movie released?).  My mind also added Pikachu after Detective when I saw the headline

Not a problem when the Switch is still the current platform, but will still be an issue as it gets older. I don’t have enough outlets to just keep all my game systems plugged in

Same director, Rie Matsumoto

This sort of thing is concerning for me since I like keeping my older hardware. I have the PSP, Vita, 3DS... even things like wireless controllers, and keeping them always plugged in is bad, but also never plugging them in is bad. I want to be able to safely store away my old hardware without it becoming permanently

Find it unlikely, as visual novels are on all consoles.  Switch even has less censorship than Sony nowadays, which is weird.  And none of the consoles have the adult versions - all of them have sex scenes removed/remove any naughty bits
