I just don’t get why they didn’t make it Malamari instead - the lamar is already referencing calamari

I already played Sword and transferred him in via Home, so he has no Leek, and there are no Farfetch’d to steal a leek from in Shield.
Yeah, that surprised me when Awkward Zombie said that, but then with the introduction of Home, I started playing Shield with my dream team and quickly saw Antidotes are in fact immediately available. What isn’t common is Dire Hits (it sounds like my best bet is a specialty store in Hammerlocke), which meant I was…
Ugh, thanks for reminding me about the rules for Baby Pokemon in the TCG. There was this one player with a pain in the neck strategy involving the free retreat cost for baby Pokemon and a Donphan with a 50 power attack that retreats after using its attack.
Huh. Now I have to wonder if Gainax took some design cues from Dragon Quarter. Gurren Lagann also starts with a subterranean society where the sky is pretty much unknown. And main character Simon shares a lot of design elements with the protagonist of Dragon Quarter (assuming that’s the guy on the left). Blue hair,…
Same. That was my workaround as well
I get it, but it feels sad compared to how Nintendo continued to offer Famicom repairs until 2007. Continuing that long was ridiculous, but it felt like one of the ways Nintendo was more personable than the other companies.
I mean, he’s technically correct. It sold over 100 units
Not sure August 2018 - January 2020 counts as “for years”, but Dr. Lava has been a great source and compilation of information so its nice to have a spotlight on him.
It’s almost baffling that certain things aren’t context sensitive - Was Talk even a default action on the A button for Dragon Quest? I know searching a tile wasn’t - like using the stairs, you had to enter the menu if you were standing next to a dresser and wanted to see if it contained anything.
Is it really an Easter Egg if its not found in-game? Unless I missed something, this is only seen if you go into the game files
Wow, someone shares my opinion. I always thought clean crisp sprite work looked so much better than the rotoscoped 3D stuff, like in Super Mario RPG and DKC.
So, for the first 7 generations of Pokemon (barring a hard break between Gens 1-2 and Gens 3-onward), while every Pokemon was not available in every game, you could trade any pre-existing Pokemon into the game and use it for the game. This could be to help build a themed team, to bring along a partner you’ve journeyed…
Now that Homestuck has finally wrapped up, I was planning on re-reading it at some point because I think it does have a really cool story behind all of its... um, being itself but can be very obtuse to follow, which made it hard when coming back to it as it slowly trickled out updates.
Agree to disagree? I don’t really remember being fond of it. I was going to give some specific examples, but despite watching it all, I don’t actually remember a lot of it thinking back.
Mostly what I remember about Gourgeist is that 1. It was the second line of Grass/Ghost Pokemon in its gen and 2. It was a pain to tell which size you encountered.
Digi-see? Digi-hear? Digi-know it was coming?
Adventure Tri and AppliMonsters were both bad in their own special ways
I’m gonna begrudgingly wait for the Switch version. Skullgirls on Switch too, while they are at it
So they should have all previous Pokemon models and animations easily accessible. The only things they should have to spend time on is new models and animations for the new Pokemon when it comes to porting in the Pokemon
