You’re right, of course. Guess I (maybe a lot people) tend to think of trying to accomplish something new as more high-stakes than it really is.

To Jerry! [raises a pint]

[jots note] ....find white guy with dreads.

Thanks. I’ll have to check that out.

It’s a bit tricky when you’re not friendly enough with people to make a casual inquisition about something like that. I’ve considered going to “less reputable” areas to seek some out, but my aesthetic screams “NARC!” so i doubt anyone would take me seriously.

I wish. I’ve wanted to try mushrooms as a treatment for the persistent depression I’ve suffered from for about 30 years now, ever since reading about some clinical trials a few years ago that produced some startlingly positive outcomes. However as a middle-age man with a social circle that’s so small it’s basically a

You hit on another issue. Training. It seems (from a job-seeker perspective) that employers are not willing to accept any of the burden of training, despite an environment where specific required job-skills is a target moving at an accelerating pace and divergent directions.

I’d say the pre-face lift Volvo 740 wagons, the turbos w/ two headlights or the GLE with the quad headlights. It’s hard to get much more “of the era” without having flip-up headlights.

NP.

I’ve always liked Markakis, since his time as a minor-league phenom (unless, of course, he turns out to be of a similar mind to his team, which is co-hosting a xenophobic gubernatorial candidate). He strikes me as a Dwight Evans to Freddie Freeman’s Jim Rice in the unsung hero role. That being said. Fuck the Braves

Downloading, at least, seems to have worked on my iPhone 6 w/ iOS 11.4.1 but I have not attempted to use the app yet.

Merc, Ford, BMW in that order, but I’d take any of them if I could.

I’d contemplated this in recent years as well. In everyday driving, can you really enjoy more than say 300 hp and 300 ft/lbs tq? It doesn’t take too special of a car/engine to reach those numbers these days. Sure, you can enjoy it occasionally on a deserted stretch of road in the middle of the night or for a moment on

NP! I really dig these things, and I had a 5-speed Accord of similar vintage that I really loved. Had I the money and lived on the other side of the continent I’d make an offer.

“Slowly”?

I have just gotten back from Amsterdam, which is decidedly not a car-friendly city (at least at its core), and I saw a couple of Cameros among the little city cars and quirky Citroen’/Pugeot’. There was even an unexpectedly luxurious Audi R8 parked near where I stayed.

As someone who just returned from Amsterdam, there may be more entertaining ways to spend $20,000, but from a luxury/reliability standpoint, assuming you can knock a few grand off of the price, this will probably be a NP gem.

Re: 2nd Gear - Honestly, and I say this with a straight face, the best (and possibly only) way to get Trump & Co. to back off the tariff on Canadian vehicle imports is to convince him he’ll be taking jobs away from white people and giving them to non-white people. Aside from feeding his ego, the best way to curry his

THIS is what the Model X should have been (plus black plastic cladding and a 2-inch lift so ‘Muricans could get their SUV/CUV fix). The faclcon-wing doors were a stupid gee-gaw that never captured the imagination of the buying public enough to warrant the engineering costs, and the over all exterior design was

I’m not saying there’s not a market for this, but $2 billion? I’ll be damned if big money investors don’t have more money than sense.
