Boomers deserve every bit of ridicule that can be thrown at them.

They only care about state’s rights when it lets them be racist. Anything else, they will gleefully meddle.
Imagine if a Democrat were using federal power to force Alabama to change the abortion laws. The conservatives would screaming bloody murder and forming private militias.
So that’s a good excuse for not allowing CA to set stricter rules on emissions? What kind of logic is that?
... and somehow it’s ok to limit the state from actually doing something about its own problems?
I had to read the quote from the EPA three times to make sure I got it.
Jesus... just as four doors cannot mean coupe, five cannot mean shooting brake. This is at best a hatchback. A shooting brake has three doors.
Living in any city with a major league sports team means you’re taking part in a scam to subsidize stadiums for billionaires. Rather than dig in their own pockets, they dig into scarce budgets and tax payer wallets while using local media outlets to push PR for ‘much needed economic boost’ headlines when you’re just…
While I agree that any sales bro can be trained to do F&I stuff, I have years of anecdotal evidence that they definitely shouldn’t be. Finding a sales rep that truly understands how to deal with a bank is very rare.
“Well we actually sell one car! The Mustang! Now, would you be interested in an all new Ford Ecosport?”
The last time I bought a car from a dealer, my wife’s Odyssey, we had the car picked out, secured our own financing, and had the price negotiated. It still took four hours at the dealer, with two small children in tow. It doesn’t matter how friendly and accommodating they were, it was still miserable.
We’re already at 84 months no interest. Not sure where to go from here. Car mortgage?
It’s funny too, because the end goal doesn’t seem that crazy when it comes to the dealer experience.
“Charlie Chesbrough, senior economist for Cox Automotive, told AutoNews that he has a working hypothesis. Mainly, it costs more to buy a car these days, and it’s tough to borrow the money to do it. It’s pretty tough to sell to a market that doesn’t have the means to buy.”
This is also RWD. V8 with RWD makes this a better car overall, even if the looks are iffy and this one is overpriced.
I like them too. I voted NP but it IS too high in price so I’d vote CP now. $5 or $6k and we are talking.
Because these non-Double-DIN integrated head units are difficult to replace and still replicate all of the functions of the original. Sometimes you’ll lose HVAC feedback, for example, if there isn’t a separate display for the HVAC controls.
Take mine too. I love these things. $9k is too much but that doesn’t change how I feel about them in general.
I would go up to $7500. It’s lowish miles and a rather dependable (if boring) car. There needs to be an “acceptable price with a little negotiation” button.
I’m definitely in the minority here, but I’ve always liked the look of this car. It was unique for the time period and stood out on the road. I think the styling has held up pretty well.
