based on the title, I was hoping to see cars dropped from airplane/helicopter onto the President's house. The reality is somewhat less exciting.
I thought I remembered that they actually got worse around that time-frame. Something to do with a change to open-deck (or vice-versa) or whatnot. It very well could be old or inaccurate info, but my impression is that the head-gasket is still the predominant weak-point in this otherwise robust engine.
I need to set up a business to supply the military with replacement head-gaskets for these things.
any non-suv that features Mazda's SkyActive-D 2.2 engine.
[obligatory] In Soviet Russia, barrier signals YOU!
You had to know that someone known for spontaneously bursting into incomprehensible cursing fits must have developed the habit while working on a car.
Any car with someone who actually knows how to drive in the snow is better than the best car with someone who's clueless about how to drive in the white stuff.

Neutral: I certainly hope so. Although delayed, I'm really looking forward to the SkyActive-D 2.2 that's slated to become an option for the Mazda 6. I'd REALLY like it if they made it available for the Mazda 3.
Oh, the hu-ham-ity!
Only being able to adjust the seat forward and back and the tilt of the seat-back. Wheel only tilts/does not telescope. No adjustment for angle of the lower seat and/or lumbar adjustment. etc, etc.

That's what you get when you upgrade to Flubber bushings.
Bevis approves.
You had me at, "My personal pants crapping story..."
Rather than repeatedly comparing it to the Corvette, wouldn't a better comparison be to the CTS? I get that the SS has a V8, but I'd think people would be more likely cross-shop RWD GM sedans than simply by the number of cylinders.
well, at least men and women literally see eye-to-eye on one thing.
