You mean you aren’t subjected to racist anthem “Sweet Home Alabama” several times a day in public places, even though you’re damned near a thousand miles from Alabama?

We can hope these incidents that blow up will make people think twice, but you know the majority of #livingwhileblack calls are not making the news or backfiring on the callers in any way.

Don’t know where you copied and pasted that from, but several countries are listed twice, and Burma and Myanmar are the same country.

We’re calling it, everyone. Esports is not a thing.

Mini Metro is my go-to mobile game, but I have it on Steam, too, and it’s not as satisfying without the touch interface. It’s excellent on a tablet.

The subtext is that some games are made to be played by YouTubers exactly once, and have little value beyond one sitting. Good job getting outraged over the most inconsequential imaginable thing, though.

I’ve started and abandoned a couple bases on the cosmic upgrade. I just get these seeds where it’s like, “Ugh, the cold biomes are soooooo faaaaaaaar and there’s no clear space near my base and these geysers are laaaaaame.” I had a solid map on the last update, just luck of the draw.

Warframe is about as good as freemium gets. Haven’t played in a while, but I do remember the matchmaking was always easy and PUGs were more often decent than not.

A lot of the people who have the biggest problems with other people’s identities also suffer from a siege mentality. If you’re not signalling membership in their ideological tribe, anything you say must be an attack.

We’re aware that gay porn films start running in your head every time you hear the slightest mention of anything LGBTQ-related. It’s a very common disorder among evangelicals. It’s your problem. Stop trying to make it other people’s problem.

The other side of that coin is that massive archives of low-effort content just dump noise in the signal if you’re looking for information. A glut of worthless data is a much bigger problem than a lack of good content these days.

Plus the game has a dark setting, so this gives it a level of realism

I’ve played a lot of survival games including both private and official Conan Exiles servers, and at least in the couple weeks before and after launch that I was playing, it was the least toxic survival community I’ve seen. Maybe I just got lucky picking servers, but there was none of the usual hate-chat, minimal

I bought a PS3 more or less as a cover charge to play The Last of Us. I did play a few other exclusives while I had it, then it sat collecting dust until I finally gave it away. There are PS4 exclusives I would like to play, but I’m not doing that again.

I never finished Darksiders 2, but what I played was a lot of fun - killer production values, solid mechanics. Sometimes the heavy metal aesthetics came off a little corny, but mostly it was very satisfying.

I thought I was done with those games, but Conan Exiles pulled me back in for a while. It’s a solid improvement on the Ark/Rust formula. I’m intrigued by the idea of a Fallout game in that vein, but FO4 was easily the biggest disappointment of my gaming life.

I prefer more dupes and more speed switching  There are a lot of ways to play.

Four? There’s conservative play, and there’s watching paint dry. Even for a training wheels game to get back into it, I take at least the first three decent dupes offered to get up to six. “This game is hard” wasn’t a complaint. The bit about useless YouTubers was a bit of a complaint.

Jumped back into Oxygen Not Included last weekend - this game is hard now! Seems like there’s always an impending food/air/water/disease catastrophe just over the horizon. It’s also even more complex, and it seems like the only people putting out current info are doing it in 2-hour-a-pop stream archives. Streaming

DAMN YOUR POLITE GREETING, SMALL TIME ENTERTAINER!
