I scanned her as pre-adolescent, i.e. young enough that not being concerned about showing her drawers is an expression of innocent enthusiasm. There was nothing sexual about the image, but anyone familiar with the internet (e.g. professional bloggers) should realize it would be sexualized.

I was almost maybe kinda considering watching it from home.

It honestly *should* be a perfectly innocent pic, underoos and all, but this is the internet, so a large number of people looking at it are going to think “upskirt,” and someone somewhere is going to get excited.

In the immediate post-Potter decade, the genre was drowning in shovel-text. It’s maybe evening out a bit now.

I got back into Sunless Sea again this weekend - talk about reading a game! It’s basically a heavily illustrated pulp-horror/dark-fantasy story collection.

Did indeed put in several hours on the Zee today. I lost a ship and had to start with a new captain (with an okay legacy from the previous), and it had been long enough that even the early stories were somewhat fresh again. I got into a bunch of content that I’m pretty sure I never ran across or followed up on before,

Rimworld is much better on permadeath. You’re really missing a lot of the game if you don’t deal with whatever the rim throws at you and live with the consequences. I did tone my last couple colonies down to Some Challenge, not so much because Rough was too hard, as it was just a blur of one thing after another. For

I gave it a 32 hour try after getting the GOTY cheap, and I can’t say anything bad about it really, but medieval sword and sorcery wears thin fast for me. It’s a peeve of mine with fantasy work in any medium: please, for the love of Cthulhu, any other setting than medieval Europe, and any magic system besides potions

I’ve been getting the itch to revisit Sunless Sea. Don’t know if I’ll follow through or if I’ll do any gaming this weekend (been on a reading kick), but no other games are calling me.

About the only thing I would trust from ThinkGeek are plushies. 99% of their merchandise is dollar store junk at collectible prices.

I found a bug in this word salad. I would like to send it back.

You’re generous. Cleveland, Miss. desegregated their schools in March of this year. That’s 40-60 years behind the Midwest, much less the East Coast.

I spent a good while searching my 1BR for my newest jeans tonight. I hung them where I decided ages ago my pants belong. I only remembered after putting on an old pair I hadn’t worn in months, and left them there.

Goddamn, you fellas have a theme going. I fear my spirit animal is too calm for this company.

You’ll find something decent on occasion, but yeah, definitely not the best place for produce. I do like their bagged “Wild Rocket Salad” arugula, but you have to be picky to get a bag that’s not on its way out.

Yeah, being openly racist seems like maybe not the worst advertising for a gun store in Virginia.

Man, I just need to steer clear of articles about console exclusives. I bought a PS3 pretty much just to play TLoU, and did play a handful of other games, but before long it was gathering dust and given away as PC drew me back in. I’m not buying a $3-400 machine for one game again. Really... (wrenches finger away from

You’re right, I was totally underestimating the seeing-dongs-through-drawers market in SL. You’ve opened my eyes. I’m willing to bet SL is on the cutting edge of virtual-dongs-seen-through-drawers technology.

Coincidentally, I’m in the midst of re-reading Snow Crash, the Neal Stephenson novel largely credited with inspiring Second Life. I first read it in the late ‘90s, and it put me off Stephenson’s work for damned near a decade: a shame, considering he’s now one of my favorite authors. There have been some cringey,

You’re not wrong, but based on my few years in SL in the mid-aughts, I’d say it was more fundamentally about the roleplay. People get to play their real fantasy - occasionally a knight or wizard or Commander Spock, but more often just someone rich and pretty who has lots of sex with other rich, pretty people in giant
