I usually don’t watch qualifying but I did for the last two races and, according to the official data, Verstappen was driving closer to his cars full potential than Hamilton at both tracks.

I think handling of “normal” vehicles has vastly improved in general. The responsiveness and body control of modern Accords and Camrys are easily closer to 20 year old sports cars than to 20 year old Accords and Camrys.

If the 440GC was available with a manual I would most likely own one right now (as long as the BMW from this alternate universe didn’t also bring us the wagon variant of my 535D)
I think it’s more like “our understanding of physics is so poor that we would think this demonstration is bending it to our will”
I know first hand how much fun these are - I own a Grom “knock off” that’s the same size and weight but with a little more power (12hp) and a 5 speed.

Annual subscribers will be the ones who buy or lease a used car without either feature [and are also too stupid to…
I used to fill up around 1/4 tank but now I only buy gas when I ride one of my motorcycles and it feels low.
We don’t have a perfect correlation between weight and road damage but the best one I’ve seen puts damage roughly proportional to axle weight to the fourth(!) power
