Not sure I like Nolan’s version. His ‘Ghost’ just sounds too... cheerful. Maybe chipper is the better word. Somewhat reminds me of Wheatley from Portal 2. I liked Wheatley’s upbeat tone, but that doesn’t quite seem to fit in Destiny.
It’s like George Lucas. People hate on Jake Lloyd or Hayden Christensen, but nobody could salvage lines like “now this is podracing!” or “let’s try spinning! That’s a good trick!” or any and all of the love dialogue in the prequels.
They’re both alright with me, Dinklage’s low tone is fine and North makes Ghost sound more like Guilty Spark which is also A-OK.
One of the ball boys themselves called himself “the Deflator” (while concurrently referring to kickbacks he was getting from Tom as thank you’s). The Patriots’/Tom’s response to this: he called himself that because he was trying to lose weight. Like, come the fuck on.
The text messages. The fact that all QBs care a lot about the pressure of a ball. The fact that an almost minimum wage employee is not going to fuck with a QB’s balls without his say-so, because they’ll be fired in 2 seconds flat. The evasiveness. The obvious lying in his initial press conference. His demeanor during…
Do you actually believe that the “deflator” was just trying to lose weight?
I don’t see what’s objectionable about that statement. The preponderance of evidence is against him.
The NFL’s punishment got overturned based on Goodell’s arbitrariness and unfairness in slamming Brady.
You’re right. I won’t go back and edit it out of respect for you.
into a person*
i think he was confusing “Nazis” with “Nazr Mohammed”, the famous Muslim basketball player. something like that, maybe. anyway see you guys later
Curt really needs to try and evolve as a person.
Curt Schilling: living proof that when you put your foot in your mouth and shoot your mouth off, you wind up shooting yourself in the foot.
...except the opinions are based on loose impressions and aren’t derived from actually analyzing the game’s mechanics or presentation nor comparing them to the mechanics/presentation of other games considered to be RPGs or open-world games.
GTA isn’t really an RPG though, its an open world sand box game where you have no progression in your character.
RPG’s are supposed to immerse you into the role of your character. It has nothing to do with numbers. So simulation and RPG are actualy pretty close to eachothers. I don’t consider games that don’t let you do meaningful decissions for your character RPG’s, because you are not playing a role. You are just playing a…
Except it is an RPG.
