You have perfectly described my experience with Super Mario Galaxy. I did not like it! But I forced myself to finish it (at least the main campaign, not even close to 100% of star bits or whatever) because I am apparently the only person on Earth who didn’t like it all that much. I own an unopened copy of Super Mario

Wow I had this exact experience with FC3 as well! I sometimes just get to the point in a game where I’m like “F this, I’m going LOUD”. This also happened to me in Fallout 4. It feels SO cathartic after hours of trying to sneak around.

I’ve certainly played some games WAY after I actually stopped enjoying them, just out of obligation. Over the years I think I’ve gotten better at just letting it go. I also get stuck prioritizing games sometimes on how much I paid for them, which is often a mistake. Sometimes I end up playing the $3 steam sale game

“BTW, what do you mean when you say you “played holes in the games you had”? Is that a SNES thing? I never had one.”

I’d argue that the death of the playable demo has led to too many people buying games they won’t enjoy.

or you find a well hyped game from years ago for 4.99 USD you thought looked so cool, only to realize why it was 4.99

That’s why I usually don’t take risks on new IP. I want to get my time and monies worth out of the game so I’ll read reviews occasionally and do my research on certain games. There have been the few games that Kotaku has praised but when I played them I couldn’t do it and I couldn’t even force myself to play it. I’ve

I’ve completed games I didn’t think were worth it in the end, in hopes that maybe later on the game gets more interesting or vindicates my effort.

Yeah, it’s a pretty huge disappointment to be honest, especially for me since I tied music into the gameplay experience so closely.

My biggest problem with it is that frankly the score isn’t all that great even when accounting for the poor midi samples. The overworld theme is kind of obnoxious and in general the music

Yes.

Its more of a dragon quest thing. The US will probably get orchestrated sometimes but in regards to Dragon Quest, Japan prefers the MIDI ost 9/10. This one just didn’t get orchestrated music in the localization (but we did get voice acting, another thing absent from the JP release).

I’d be super wary of a refurb OLED. OLED can suffer from permanent burn-in, and you might end up getting one that has been abused. https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/real-life-oled-burn-in-test

I was wondering why She-Ra looked like a man, but apparently there’s a new reboot of She-Ra where its a cross-dressing man? I need to read more about that, because that premise seems a bit far out there.

Gun nuts and gun defenders are sociopaths. Full stop. The only way to fix it is to outnumber them and vote it down.

Most of them are rank cowards, so its basically a matter of organization.

Try voting for politicians who are pro-gun control.

No it's not. You're not going to drop your job and go protest in front of congress. Neither am I. This will continue forever because this is America now.

“Guns aren’t the problem. Look at Chicago, where there are strict gun crimes!”

“Nothing can be done,” says only country where this regularly happens.

Oh well. At least you have the Mass Effect 3 engine in ME1 on PS3.

My drug of choice is a Bloody Caesar (hey, I figure it’s nutritious), so I’m 100% on board with you.
