honestly it’s the best advice
That’s honestly the best suggestion - as soon as they feed you drink a beer, take a sleeping pill, and nope the fuck out of the rest of the flight.
Ambien is the best. I did have a sleepwalking episode once that makes a little afraid to take it again on a flight. Apparently I was up and walking around fixing drinks for the imaginary party I was having. I can imagine my self getting up, fixing a drink at the flight attendant prep area. Then we would boogie down…
I’ve been using the same four rechargeable AA batteries since the Xbox 360 era. Spent maybe $18 for the kit, it’s all lasted me more than ten years, and I don’t have to worry about battery disposal. When the two in my controller die, I just swap them with the two full ones waiting in the charger. You, too, can be…
You lost me at the title. Why aren’t you using a rechargeable pack?
a deep sense of loathing for humanity is my specialty
I’m sorry about your circumstances too, you didn’t HAVE to have 4 kids. Back of the line.
What does that even mean? That your compassion only extends as far as your kids and their needs? This isn’t a Zero sum game. All government social projects need more funding. It’s like the people that say, well I’m not going to worry about welfare til vets are taken care of. No, we need to take care of both at the…
I write for GameZone.com, we’re not massive but we do pretty well. We get review copies for games from developers big and small so we’re definitely connected with PR folks!
Me and my friends spend a few weeks in wooded cabins each summer, I’ve been bringing me Wii and (now) Snes mini with a portable projector for a few years now for the times we want some entertainment.
And you may find yourself
What keeps me going when replaying the 1st game is paying extra attention to the story and looking in every nook and cranny trying to find something new to me. Sure the gameplay is clunky but I think the “world” building in the first game is enough for me to play it through. Also, find a class you like. I feel that…
Yeah, the trilogy is definitely more about the journey, and particularly the companions.
I really like the first one but i can see that it didnt age well. I remember a comic summary when you bought the second one on playstation to import the choices of the first one.
The series as a whole is worth it for sure. First for its story and characters. 2nd for its characters and gameplay. 3rd for the conclusion.
Going to second this notion. ME:A’s combat was so satisfying that it was probably the only reason I finished it. Other than that, ME:A is just all of ME1's fetch quests and almost no meaningful exploration.
The one positive thing I’ll say about Andromeda is that it really did improve the combat gameplay. It feels like a huge step up from ME1 thanks to some sped up traversal options and the culmination of the combat streamlining that began with 2. But other than that... stop playing after 3 if you stick with it at all. I…
I’m impressed by your commitment, but after playing the first game twice back in the day (the gameplay didn’t even feel great back then) I’ll never play it again just to avoid shattering my nostalgia for it. Mass Effect 2, on the other hand...I’ve been fighting off the urge to replay that for the fourth or fifth time…
I tried to do exactly this a few years ago and ran into the same issue. I’ve also heard the sequels are worth it but... jeez. The first one was hard work. I was five hours in without having any fun, yet. I gave up!
I mean, maybe the point of where the game wants you to sell meat is longer than you thought it’d be, but the mechanices of doing small tasks to build up to bigger tasks is endemic in the genre so I’m not sure why it is bad here other than that you assumed that selling meat was one of the first things you do.
This game…
