I know it’s trendy to jump on airlines for every little slight and the airlines do make themselves to be a very attractive target. At the same time, folks needs to understand why things are the way they are. When I flew over 200 segments and 200,000 miles a year, I spent a lot of time speaking with airline personnel

I generally try to keep swearing down in my comments, but I just came here to make a statement.

This is just another example of how the fascist leftists in this country are dead set on oppressing tiny penised white men.

He would’ve survived only if he had recently installed a Cobb short throw shifter. That would’ve changed everything.

Agreed with @Raphael Orlove here. Doing this kind of thing on public roads combined with being in a new car that you don’t know as well as Gran Turismo suggests you do is not very smart.

Wrong assessment. He shouldn’t have gone whipping as fast as he thought possible (that is, faster than he could safely judge the road). By the time he started thinking about ‘oh what do I do now’ he was already committed to going too fast into too tight of a corner. That is, he was fucked. The unfixable mistake was

He should have lifted, downshifted, tapped the brakes to get the car to rotate and powered thru. And not just a little power, everything that car has left banging against the limiter. So it could claw it’s way sideways back down into the corner.

Verily. The shop owner Paul told me he’s been dailying the car for the past few days, and I like little more than to get under the car in the morning and adjust the valves. I plan on taking things slow through the whole South. It’s 860 miles to North Carolina, which should keep me good.

Youd been lied to, engine will not shut down when the key is out of range. That would be too dangerous, what if i put the key into a metal container while driving 80mph? Engine stalls on the interstate? Comeon:)

i think factory systems don’t let the cars shut off like that is because it could be dangerous if the car suddenly shut off while driving. no more power steering/brake boost, you could lose control and if that happened while it was just the owner running an errand, they wouldn’t want that liability.

The car will continue to run until you turn it off or run out of gas. It will just give you a notification that the key isn’t with you, but it will continue to run/drive normally. I’ve been a tech at both motorcycle/car dealerships that use proximity keys and I’ve driven/ridden off without a key numerous times.

Doesn’t matter if the signal is encrypted, as the attack is just relaying the signal verbatim.

The 2016 Mazda 6 will accelerate from 0-60 in about 7.3 seconds which is average for the segment...however it is EPA rated at 38mpg on the highway...which is a leader in the segment.

See.

I have attended enough autocrosses to say that for the most part an NA Miata can keep up with the newest and greatest Miatas.
I am by no means a Miata fanboy, I have ridden in one once. Just my observations saying that those NAs are really quite good.

Where is weed 60 dollars an eighth? Some college where kids have their parents credit card? Lol.

No offense intended but, where are you buying your weed? Mexi swag doesn’t go for 60 an eighth, even in Minnesota. I’d be shocked if anyone could retail the pounds for more than $500 - and that’s a stretch.

Isnt this like smuggling Lada’s into the US when we already have BMWs? Who is still buying their Mexican dirt weed when there are stores on every corner stuffed with medical quality weed?

“Wow I didn’t watch racing before but I loved the big race! When’s the next race?”

The traffic here in America is nothing compared to the traffic in India. Having driven manual transmission there, I thought it was a pain. But I’ve never felt anything driving manual transmission in Bay Area traffic. It’s actually enjoyable. In most stop and go traffic I can be on first gear and maintain a speed of 5
