Yes, which is excellent compared to standard SUV styling.  While I’d prefer it not be so high, once its such a large car who cares.

I think the I-Pace is one of the best-looking non-offroad SUVs I’ve seen.  It has a much more car-like shape which is great.

My dad is getting an I-Pace instead of a Model 3 because “everyone has one.”

Dooooo they though?  The 6-series looks awful.  I’d go so far as to say its my least favorite car.

It was also like 1/16th the size of the current one.

Counterpoint: fuck coupes.

Just send it, upgrade your towing with AAA, and wait for the engine to go and in the meantime keep an eye out for a good deal on a replacement engine that you can rebuild (or not) at your leisure while the truck is still running.

NASCAR can’t make it more than 2 laps on a road course without full-course caution.  2 laps...then 30 min of caution...2 laps...then 30 min of caution.

I’ve never heard of anyone walking into a VW or Mazda dealer wanting a hatchback and not being able to drive off with one that day.

Mazda 3, Golf, GTI, Focus, Fiesta, Versa Note, Fit, Corolla Hatch, A3 eTron, Leaf, Civic Hatch, Spark, Sonic, Cruze hatch, Yaris, Prius, Prius C, BMW GTs...good luck finding one? They’re everywhere!  But what you really need is a wagon...not too many.

Buy a hatchback.

Instead, it looks like a shrouded CRT console from a 1980s science fiction film.

I have an S with the stick, AMA.

It isn’t.

Worth noting the Ford Escort GT has the same engine as....the NA Miata!

Dealer was perfectly willing to do a trade for the color I wanted when I got a base GTI.

I dunno on racing tires they mean “these are proooobably good for another session.”

Also.  Plaid.  Seats.

It’s around $4/gallon for premium at most gas stations where I live. I’d still take 30MPG and the extra benefits over 60MPG in that chintzy box any day. Let me also clarify: I’m getting 35-38 MPG in my rush-hour stop-and-go Bay Area traffic commute in the GTI without start/stop and with the manual. The 30 number is

On the other hand for basically the same price as this I can have a GTI, 220HP, plaid seats, LED lights and metal and subtle sporty accents all over my german-designed interior, and still get 30MPG while flogging it. And by “can have” I mean “did get.”  Low-cost doesn’t have to mean basic.
