‘05, high miles, one-owner with full service records.  PPI missed a ton of things.

1. CV joints.

Lol don’t get me started on the parts cost.  $700 CV joints.

And if that doesn’t sound that bad for a cool wagon project car...it was my daily. And I was driving it a lot. That was a lot of $ down the drain. But now I don’t have to longingly look at every one I see, and that’s nice.

The list would be too long for my Volvo V50 T5 manual so I’ll just go with this: that it would cost me somewhere between $1-2 per mile driven in the 9 months I had it.

Which isn’t really a big deal, TBH. $2000 is nothing in terms of getting a car that old back to tip-top shape. Miatas are awesome.

Most $2300 Miatas need $2000 worth of work.  This is a fucking steal.

Yes, and as someone who now drives one I’m fairly glad for it.  But for the first week or so I kept calling it an Audi by accident.

As an aside SCCA SFR is also a pretty serious chapter. They own their own track (Thunderhill) which is arguably a better facility (and definitely is for club racing) than either Sonoma or Laguna Seca.

Sonoma is a pretty major track.   2018 runoffs are at Sonoma.

Right but that should play fine in the car. The car should control the prime music app. This works using Carplay and probably works with other infotainment systems. The head unit in my 90s Miata doesn’t care if the audio source is Spotify or the music app or a youtube video, it will still work and so will the

If you’re using a music service that in 2018 can’t stream over a USB cable to a car then I’d be inclined to either blame user error or tell you to get a different service.

Looks a lot like Astroneer to me.

Nothing from Radwood?  Come on guys!

My favorite bit was some guys had taken their Ford Transit company work van up there. They were car fans. We chatted about the upcoming hill climb and cars and stuff, they pulled over for us on the way down and we ran into them again at Garden of the Gods.

I had a fun drive up and down Pike’s Peak in a rented Camaro. Most people were happy to pull over to yield to faster traffic, with the exception of one SUV who eventually moved over and shouted “how fast do you out of town motherfuckers want to go?” The short answer is: about 15MPH faster than you. Almost as if

You’re complaining about modern steering wheels but then call out a few of the best modern steering wheels out there.

Don’t really know that I have much in the way of period dress, but I’ll bring my Miata out for a bit.

What’s this going to do to US-based Euro auto dealers?

Only 175HP :(
