I did cross shop among the Cayman, ATS-V, GT350, 4C, GS F, and ended up with a loaded 340i xDrive (amazing deal with a rare stick shift option), so I know what you mean. Everyone has unique needs.
That’s the thing. Once you’re paying $100k, you’re in territory of real big boy cars, even if it’s just a base 911.
+1
Really 2008. It arrived in USA in 2008 as a 2009. MSRP was adjusted up mid-year.
For me it’s the price jump. When it was released, sticker was $65k. Now for what’s basically still the same car, they’re asking another $40k, which is probably closer to what the car is worth, but it’s not the crazy deal it was when it was launched (cue launch mode busted gearbox warranty jokes).
It’s disheartening to me to see everyone on this board shit on the GT-R. Never got why it got so much hate. I love it.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and disagree. I don’t think the GT-R is a good value in any guise. This car has long since been caught and passed by competitors. This car was game changing when it was literally almost half as much as it is now and offered performance that few other cars could match for any price. Now, it’s…
Still want...
Didn’t Nissan do this to the 300ZX? Just increase price and complexity until people stopped buying it? I suppose folks are still buyng GT-R’s in big numbers, but when will enough be enough?
That’s an awful lot of money to be sharing a service bay with peasant-mobiles
I honestly don’t think this is a clickbait situation. They literally have the harshest law. It’s just not in effect yet. I mean, I wouldn’t describe it the way the headline did but it’s probably more a case of just oversimplifying than deliberately trying to sensationalize.
Good points. In that case I would say Ford did a crappy job of engineering the drivetrain. I’ve never heard of a TR6060 overheating on the track.
you wanna hear quite......just wait till Motor Trend finally gets a hold of a Ford GT and test it against a Huracan, 488 GTB or Corvette Z06/ZR1.......then you will hear quite from Ford fans and Ford for that matter.
This is something I’ve been researching for my work, and 1 out of 100 is being generous. I looked at results for a couple of the major karting organizations and perhaps it is the confusing class structures, but I didn’t find any girls or young women competing in any of the higher levels of karting. I know they exist -…
Ford should’ve offered them together. Most people buying a $70k car don’t want a basic radio and crummy controls.
Did the owners choose the ‘collectors package’?
The room full of Ford fans that has been loudly mouthing off about heat soaking Chevys for the last 2 years, just got real quiet.......
If you printed every completely stupid thing that every completely irrelevant ex-whatever said or did, you’d never do anything else. Who gives two shits what this guy says, it’s dumb and a waste of time.
