With a 3,000 mile oil change in my grandmother’s car I wouldn’t expect too much of a difference. Tell me about 10,000 miles, 6 months, and high engine…

Even with that, though, it wasn’t completely unreasonable to expect a battery revolution similar in magnitude to the miniaturization of tech. The point is that battery capacity didn’t increase with phone capabilities. Obviously a more powerful phone with the same(ish) battery won’t last as long.

We didn’t need EV’s to get to this conclusion though. One only needed to note that nokia got up to a week on a battery and iphones have managed a few hours for years.
