Probably too many words for a headline so the author just went with a title that sounded good, although factually incorrect.

Totally agree. The brake check had nothing to do with the crash.

Edit: Didn’t realize the malibu was still in front. Thought it was the Grand Am because of the resolution.

Obviously, brake checking someone at that speed is ridiculously unsafe and a major asshole move in any case. But still, I don’t see how it’s the brake-checkers direct fault here. Surely he caused her to be more

Has another company abandoned F1 twice & come back for thirds? And cancelled the NSX & S2000. I will shed 0 tears when Chrysler joins AMC & Oldsmobile.

It’s the internet dude. Where everyone is independently wealthy, everyone has no debt and a perfect credit score, and they also make at least a 20% return off of their investments.

People will absolutely buy it. They will fall into three categories:

1. Young, single dudes who might be making a decent living but who have terrible money management skills. These might end up repossessed at some point, as they should have bought a car that is $10k less than this one, such as an Si.

This is why I like it. The new pickup trucks are absolutely monsterous, I love the ridgeline because it’s exactly what is needed for 90% of what pickup trucks do today. It’s easy to park, fits five comfortably, has a bed to throw stuff in from a home depot run, comfortable to drive, reliable, etc. Honestly I think it

I agree. Once they killed off the S2000 and went with a “safe” lineup, they lost me. Every brand should always have at least one enthusiast vehicle in the lineup just to keep people interested. The new NSX came too little too late for me. I’ll always be a Chevy / Pontiac guy though Honda was in my top 3 at one time.

their daddy has the money

Looks are subjective, but RS looks much nicer, far less boy-racer, has AWD and (I think) is targeted to a more mature clientele. This is targeted to kids on Playstations.

Does the crowd this car attracts actually have the money to buy it?

I’ve played the “low/super-low” allocation game for the best part of 15 years now. Getting very desirable cars (including Porsche GT cars) isn’t too hard so long as you understand how the game works, and are willing to play.

$35K for an Integra revival, maybe, sure. This Honda. Nope. For an S2000 CR revival, absolutely. Either Give us a Fit Si at $20K or an S2000 and call it a day. For $35K, that is a NICE used Cayman S money, not FWD torque steer money.

There’s no reason to buy a Honda these days when everything else they compete with looks better, is reliable, and is definitely not bland.

Someone actually WANTS the new Ridgeli..... minivan with a bed?

Agree. Once they’d decided to pump all their spare cash into the money-pit Hondajet... the quality had to slump somewhere... and that somewhere was their founder’s ethos for ‘racing breeds good road cars’. Now we have Macpherson struts, paper-thin frame rails, cable shift linkages, and CVTs to prove Hondas aren’t the

This. Honda was a great brand even pretty recently, but they just aren’t what they used to be. It used to be that when you bought a Honda, you were getting something that was cheap and spartan, but felt solid and lasted for quite a few miles. Now, they’re cheap and they feel like it. Interior material qualities are

I’ve only purchased Hondas, and I agree completely with the recent company lineup. That includes Acura. Their current vehicles are overwrought snoozefests. Where’s the hatchback Civic Si, the Prelude, and the mechanical masterpiece that was the NSX?

As a McLaren fan, I gotta agree that Honda is really disappointing right now...

Honda has only dominated for 3 years in F1 but participated for something like 20 years at this point. The domination was pure luck, it seems.
