Funny how it used to be your local Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep/Eagle dealer, and now it’s looking like it’s going to be just a Dodge/Jeep dealer, or maybe just a Fiat/Jeep dealer after all of the Ram diesel fallout.

Tell us how you really feel :D
+1 yeah still gotta insure it, register it and find a place to park it. No thanks.
Speed limit and common courtesy are in two different ballparks.
Cool. My mom had a turbo (presumably a GS turbo?). Supposedly I hated it as a child.
Meh, just buy a Kawasaki and be happy.
If you drink the mclaren koolaid like I do ;)
Those big wet juicy engines ;)
Autocar is a little less legitimate than we all think it is. They’ve become an outlet that takes every rumor and reports it as gospel coming from some legitimate inside source.
Agreed. With all the carbon and the V6, why is it not substantially lighter than the old car?
I wouldn’t call it horrid, it’s pretty beautiful in person, but yeah it’s not up to Ferrari or McLaren or Lambo interior standards. And for $400k it should be.
Anytime you put your foot down or go around a bend you’ll be utilizing the specs.
Ferrari’s dry weight figures are absolute lies. Either that, or the Speciale is carrying about 500lbs of fluids. Same for the rest of their quoted curb weights.
+1.
I think the back end is the best part. Those weird lines around the front part of the doors and fenders though....
Great catch. “Dry weight” is such a lie. Seems like a lot of cars these days have about four hundred pounds of fluids on top of that dry weight somehow. ~3,300 isn’t exactly portly but compared to what it could have been it’s very disappointing.
V6 is for marketing purposes so they can get their fleet economy up.
McLaren manages to be the lightest on offer and all of their offerings include a DCT.
Yeah you could put those kumho tires and that huge aero on a Civic and it’d be the next “benchmark.”
I.e., the Ford GT is not a real product for real enthusiasts, just another marketing tool.
