When I played on the SNES, I always picked the Knicks or the Hornets. The latter team replaced Gill with Mourning in that particular version.

If we were going by the SNES/Sega Genesis version, the Hornets would be much, much higher. Johnson/Mourning for life son.
Still better than Eddie Lacy.
I saw a Mexican IPA at a bodega in Queens, and I have been morbidly curious about it ever since. It is probably the nastiest fucking thing imaginable.
I remember being outraged that there were no discouraging words for Von Miller when he violated the NFL substance abuse policy when the same old farts lathered themselves into a nice, frothy anger over "rampant" PED use in baseball. Now that you mention domestic violence in MLB, I feel ashamed that I completely forgot…
The Guy Fieri restaurant is pretty damn bad and deserved that scathing review. I've been hearing a lot of hype for Birds & Bubbles, so I'm a bit more skeptical about this one.
I remember when that awful Guy Fieri restaurant opened in Times Square, people everywhere were singing the praises of the New York Times review that absolutely trashed the place. I kept saying that the New York Observer review was better by a mile. The best paragraph:
Ryan Lambert (who's going to be doing a big season preview for this site, if he is to be believed) is going nuts about this. I'm not taking a position quite as hardline as his, but the ice girls are there to be ogled. Don't dither- keep them or let them go.
And when he gets fired and ultimately rehired by another team in spite of his incompetence, he will be the Lane Kiffin of MLB.
Why am I commenting on a Deadspin article that's almost a year old? Because the Dallas Stars Jumbotron guy is at it again.
In his postgame press conference, Ned Yost said that he "doesn't go out much." Go figure, huh?
The hell do you mean Missouri is the south NOW? It's the home state of John Ashcroft!
I haven't seen any Deadspin/Screamer posts about the UEFA Champions League this year and I'm concerned.
I think it's much too early to be having this debate about whether Brady is done, but you're right about Belichick's ego and terrible personnel decisions- so much so that if Belichick jettisons Brady after next season, I would not be as surprised as many in the sports world would be. His hubris will be his downfall.
I still think it needs to happen at some point, but that point is waaaaaaaaay too far into the future. All the same, a 24-team top-flight league is not good either.
Why is MLS saying that there MUST be a second team in LA? Fuck that. Move the dormant franchise to Sacramento when a new stadium is ready. Republic FC broke the league attendance record in its first year, overtaking the one set MLS-bound Orlando City. The RiverCats are always at the top of the minor league baseball…
It's one of my favorite breweries for every reason you said.
The thing about Victory is that I have never had a beer by them that made me go, "Holy SHIT, this is the best thing that I've ever tasted!" However, they are (IMO) the most consistently solid brewery whose stuff that I have on a regular basis. Like you, I've never been disappointed by anything that I've had by them,…
New Belgium doesn't distribute to NY so I highly doubt they distribute to New England states.
I haven't had a Storm King in a while, but I do remember it being very good. Aside from it not being very flashy, I'd say another reason why it gets overlooked is because Victory is best known for its German styles.
