I'm sorry but that is complete bullshit. A lot of the things that need doing in America/World are not going to make these people a lot of money in the short term. In fact it will take quite some time for a number of infrastructure, medical, and educational investments to pay off monetarily if they ever do.

That is not the point I am making. I am not suggesting giving up luxuries, I am suggesting using the rest of their vast wealth to improve the country and the world.

Considering I am not far from this lifestyle, no I am not jealous.

I am not talking about people from 1M to 10M. That is chump-change in America.

I am angry, not envious. My lifestyle is not far from this.

I never claimed otherwise, I am fully aware of my privilege, and I am working hard to use it for good instead of just riding its luxuries.

No shit some people are good and some people aren't. I never claimed otherwise.

I am not jealous, I am quite well off myself.

Look at the numbers.

If that was true, then employment and middle/lower class earnings would increase with the earnings of the upper-class. Guess what, they don't.

Which is most of them. Rich people are making more money now than at any point in history, yet we still have unemployment problems, poverty, etc.

Hmmm, then why are they making more money than ever, while everyone else is making less? Why are their fewer jobs now while they are better off than ever.

Oh for fucks sake, I am richer (as are you) than 99% of the world. We DO walk in their shoes.

I am from New York City, and it doesn't matter how many generations it has been most of the kids are indistinguishable (both personality-wise and what they look like). What matters is how you raise your kids.

I fucking listed what I wanted them to do. I don't consider lobbying for politicians to be charity.

Except that the amount of money which goes back into their coffers exceeds the amount of money they put into the economy. Thus why they keep getting richer while the rest of the country gets poorer.

Please point out the pitfalls and challenges that come from being born rich.

Your comment makes very little sense, and your statements about welfare demonstrate how little you understand about socio-economics.

Yes I absolutely am. I am very privileged. I am a well off white man. But I am aware of my privilege, and I do my best to use my money and privilege responsibly.

Did you even read my comment? You clearly didn't since I said I DIDN'T want them to be charitable.
