Some of this articles are so negative towards technology. The writers should look in the Black Mirror and check if they actually wrote something with the slightest bit of substance.

I generally am uninterested in tech cheerleading and appreciate the critical slant that has developed among tech journalists- it’s been a striking and much-needed shift. But I really agree with your latter point. I’m hopeful that tech journalism will continue to develop beyond criticism into constructive critical…
Yeah I saw that one. Don’t get me wrong, NdGT has some opinions I don’t agree with: but for the most part he’s a scientist and in his field I have the utmost respect and understanding of his opinions. He is an excellent science communicator and an unbelievably vital asset to science and education in this country.
I feel this is a little unfair, he made a mistake, yes he thought it would succeed, then found it didn’t. He apologised, took the blame and is taking steps to rectify it. Is that really worthy of such vitriol?
Damn that Elon Musk for wanting to hire more people and create more jobs. How dare he?!?!
To quote Kosh from B5 - “I shall miss this place when it is gone.”
This is probably the most opinionated piece of garbage I’ve ever read.
I kinda love reading the comments on any Apple article here just to hear people lose their minds that Apple is doing what it’s always done and the majority of people love it and are going to keep buying them.
Yes this is bait for the haters because I know they won’t be able to resist.
It’s ok to be happy when bad things happen to bad people.

I wish there was more commenting on articles like this. It’s kind of amusing though that when Giz writers drop some op-eds about climate change or various other things or, God forbid, Trump policy as it relates to U.S. education, STEM, and science in general, you have a cadre of neckbeards who flock in like “Hurr…
Wonder how many confederate flag wavers are telling Hillary supporters “you lost, get over it”?
He wants to remain on the advisory board so he can at least TRY to sway the administration’s opinions on things that he feel are important. He doesn’t get to do that if he pisses Trump off. It’s really that simple.
Now, I think it frakkin SUCKS that things are the way they are.... but this is the world we live in…
That fact doesn’t make him the popular choice. That makes him the choice that was gerrymandered in. As a republican, I know this as fact. Why don’t you?
As a bleeding-heart liberal Hillary voter who thinks Avril “speak English, it’s pronounce ‘April’” LaVigne seems to be a fine, nice person, I think she picked the wrong tree to bark up here. You don’t have to be a bully to think Nickelback sucks, and comparing a many-times-over-millionaire musician to a bullying…
As a Trudeau voter and trump hater, I feel obligated to tell you to get over it. It’s a light hearted joke at a grown ass millionaire, I think he’ll be ok.
Are you sure?
