Some of this articles are so negative towards technology. The writers should look in the Black Mirror and check if they actually wrote something with the slightest bit of substance.

Yeah I saw that one. Don’t get me wrong, NdGT has some opinions I don’t agree with: but for the most part he’s a scientist and in his field I have the utmost respect and understanding of his opinions. He is an excellent science communicator and an unbelievably vital asset to science and education in this country.

I feel this is a little unfair, he made a mistake, yes he thought it would succeed, then found it didn’t. He apologised, took the blame and is taking steps to rectify it. Is that really worthy of such vitriol?
