Where in my comment do I say government?

America provided the opportunity for Saverin to make that money in the first place. Facebook would not have taken off anywhere else.

No Iran just says shit like that, just like North Korea. It is a means to be popular amongst the voting populace and taken more seriously at the negotiation table. Ahmadinejad is not stupid enough to actually go through with his threats.

Israeli-American here, we kill a lot of innocent people too! In fact in terms of sheer numbers we have probably killed more innocent people than Ahmadinejad. Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, etc. We are hardly innocent.

This comment makes you a dick. Israeli speaking here.

Hardware is more than just internal specs, it is how it works with the OS.

Sigh, more random hate for an idea which is good just not perfected yet. I feel like anything new posted to a tech blog gets hated on with little imagination or thought for future iterations.

It doesn't taste like soap to people who like it.

Most people who dislike cilantro say it tastes like soap. I don't see the flavor connection, but then again I love cilantro!

Amazed at the number of commenters here talking like they know that fragmentation isn't a problem.

Which leads to lazy developers who don't make tablet versions of their apps, leading to less than stellar adoption of Android tablets.

Better than underpaid private fire departments who will let your house burn down if you haven't fully paid your dues.

Have any regular Flickr users migrated to 500px yet? It has a much more beautiful interface, but I haven't used it enough to know if it truly is a replacement for Flickr.

I back up over WiFi to a Time Machine. The first time is slow, but after that it is only delta-updates so it doesn't take long and happens in the background.

Do you seriously think there are even close to that number of users who need ethernet ports and optical drives? Even if it was 5% of users it is still not enough to warrant diluting the design to cater to them. If they can't deal with a dongle then too bad because they are a tiny fraction of the customers Apple is

I don't think Apple is competing for the same market as Microsoft. Sure Apple only has 15% of the PC market, but it is an enormously profitable and loyal segment. Microsoft controls the corporate market, but Apple has never really catered to them. To compete there Apple would have to fight on pricing not on quality,

It's frustrating because RTM has much better integration with a number of third party services (particularly Google apps), but they have a kind of shitty web UI. This new app is looking nice though.

Sigh, you are one of those people who thinks screens were invented the first time someone invented a flashlight right?

This existed a while before Instagram was purchased by Facebook, I guess they were just beta testing it?

Are you seriously asking why Apple doesn't include it when a $200 laptop does?
