I mean 99% of users. Sorry if Apple is too business-savvy to cater to that tiny number of users who want ethernet and are too bitchy to buy a dongle.

You must have the most uncomfortable time on your couch.

Those "pros" are a tiny fraction of the market. Is it so bad that they have to buy a dongle? They are not even 1% of users.

I have been to many colleges and not a single one was lacking WiFi. A year from now I bet it will be laughable to have a dorm without WiFi.

Then your definition of "pro" is too strict. Apple would be stupid to cater to the tiny fraction of a percent of people who use "pro" in that way.

I am a graphic designer on Apple. I am a professional. I don't need ethernet. The majority of my fellow graphic designers I know are in the same boat.

What people consider "Pro" isn't the same. What you call a "Pro" is a tiny fraction of the user base. Apple would be stupid to cater to such a narrow group.

Save 3$ Really?

Can you stream any video or game you find on your phone to the TV? Can you stream Rdio or Spotify to your speaker system? Can you mirror your tablet to the TV?

What magic box does TWC make that lets me stream games, the internet, any video, music, etc to my TV and speaker system?

I think it is more due to a lack of marketing than anything.

Really now? Apple's only innovation was Thunderbolt? Please tell me you are one of those people who only thinks innovation/invention is when you conjure something out of thin air with your bare hands. Do you have any idea how simultaneously arrogant and ignorant that statement is?

I'm amazed at the number of commenters who are actually upset at the thought of losing ethernet.

I don't think Apple is trying to provide a map for other people to use online, this is just for iOS devices. The API is in all likelihood not going to change significantly since it is still Apple's API being handed off to Google Maps right now.

You do realize that the Apple distortion field works both ways right? As does Googles, Microsoft's etc.

Haha I know right, for once it would be great to get some newer images that aren't from close orbit. I guess we just don't send that many high-res cameras into high orbit since they wouldn't have much use besides taking pretty pictures.

Having used all the "identical" counter apps I can assure you they do not have superior UIs. Hiding functionality behind a "universal options" button is lazy design.

God that is an old joke.

Israel != USA

Thank you.
