A simple phone call and photo evidence will prevent you from losing your job. Don’t blow it out of proportion.

Read your other reply no problem.

Did you read OPs post. He said they were high schoolers. Considering its a late night high school party I’d say there’s a pretty good chance of some underage drinking going on.

That’s what I’ve been saying.

Well I’ve generally found neighborhoods with driveways to mainly exist in suburban areas.

Yeah I completely forgot they came out with their guidelines a few years ago.

And this is why I went into engineering...

Please read some of the other comments. It depends on which jurisdiction you are in. Yes, for a majority it is illegal but we do not know which jurisdiction he is in in this case and it’s too late for me to edit my original comment.

If you look at many of the other comments, it depends which jurisdiction you are in...

OP commiting a crime is a funnier story, wow.

It depends on which jurisdiction you are in. It is illegal in a majority but ultimately we do not know ourselves OP does.

So you would rather commit a crime than arrive to work late.

So?!? I won’t vandalize they’re property.

Since I can’t edit I’m referring specifically to OPs actions.

“I honestly do not care if it’s legal. If I’m stuck in traffic for the next two hours, so should the guy behind me in the motorcycle. Otherwise it’s like cutting in front of somebody on line at the grocery store...”

We don’t know for sure unless OP clarifies it but I read that as across the entrance blocking him in. In another comment to me he says that if he had the chance he would have let the guy park in his driveway as well.

If you read some of my other comments as well as others, you will notice that it depends on the jurisdiction. The majority in the US you will be ticketed but ultimately it depends which jurisdiction you are in.

You know the vast majority of motorcycles are air-cooled right. Therefore if they are sitting in traffic the rider is straddling an overheating engine. They also don’t have the relative comfort of air conditioning.

So if this was reviewed by a judge right now, you think the OP would get a lighter punishment than the parker?

But if it’s not illegal is it not legal?
