Some of you may have seen my remarks in defense of the dude with the pastel 80's 458 color scheme. Yeah, I made a case for wealthy people spending their money and expressing themselves. I stand by that argument.

John Davis actually sounding disappointed in something. Either the apocalypse was about to happen (unlikely) or this Seville STS was a fantastically terrible car (more likely).

Hey hey hey hey HEY!

Bingo. I don't have any problem with people not liking the choice in paint - or 3M wrap or whatever it is.

Why so much hate. I'm being serious right now, this a community built on one common passion: a passion for automobiles that unites us beyond our numerous differences.

You and 300hp30mpgrwdfor30k hit the nail on the head for me while I was gone, and like I told the other guy, I genuinely appreciate y'all doing that.

My friend, serious bro points for backing me up after I wrote that guy off. If you're ever in Austin or College Station let me know and I'll buy you a drink or something.

For what will probably be upwards of $100,000 I want my Lincoln ornament straight!

Looks better already.

Why don't we have something like that here in the States?

Haha thanks man!

"I assume from your username that you're from Texas... what a surprise."

You don't have to be interested in one, that's the beauty of this great nation, you have that decision. Well, in this case you have no other decision! But you get the idea. I respect your opinion.

Yes. And why 4WD with locking diffs > 2WD and open diffs.

They're just a really good kind of awesome. That's about it. But honestly, what more do you need?

I completely agree, as nothing here really happens quickly, and if it does it's usually something injurious.

On the "feel good" statement, I was talking about the legislator making the rule, and the buyer buying the car. Certainly a pedestrian would feel better about getting hurt less haha.

That honestly would be extremely simple. If a given vehicle doesn't meet the US requirements, simply have the buyer sign a document that protects the seller and automaker them from any litigation involving injuries as a result of the non-met standards.

The Limited and Longhorn interiors are gorgeous and definitely feel robust and durable, which is more than I can say for the GM trucks. I checked a couple out on the lot the other day and they still feel flimsy. Where they used the new soft-touch materials it wasn't any better either, just felt rubbery and cheap.

Haha that's very true. Texas is so massive that we literally have five different climate regions that represent a solid majority of the rest country's climates. If you don't like the weather where you live, drive a few hours and live there! If you don't like it there either, wait 5 minutes and it'll change!
