That sucker stopped dead in like 20 feet!

Just an asshole with a badge, nothing to see here. It’s guys like this that make cops continue to look bad on a day-to-day basis.

Utter bullshit. Lyft was running the whole time too. This is just a case of some reactive psychopaths on Twitter coming up with complete nonsense and forcing a company to make a statement on something that is entirely a non-issue.

Still wish it was a V8.

The fact that this remains an issue (44 events PER DAY in the US???) absolutely fucking tears a hole through the very fabric of my mind. Anyone under 80 has no excuse for “pedal misapplication,” I mean hell my grandad just turned 80 and he still kicks ass behind the wheel.

When my know it all, holier than thou generation comments on a story like this:

This thing better have the oldest of cocobolo hardwood in the doors and run on the winter-borne tears of eastern Siberian orphans OR I’M NOT BUYING IT!

And the half ton facelift wars continue!

The F50, and F50 GT have always been my favorite Ferraris. I never understood why that car got so much hate, especially relative to the F40. Oh well!

TOO MANY DAMN LAWS.

Say what you will about the diesel builds, but the really disappointing thing here is how much hate now resides in the Jalopnik comments section - as is clearly exemplified following this particular post.

If you watch the video about this truck, from TFLT or the dealership, you’ll see it has iForce V8 badges on it. Like a couple others have pointed out this means the truck had the 4.7 V8 directly out of the 1st gen Tundra - timing belt and all.

Ford’s havin a record year.

“Mulch isn’t getting heavier. Horses aren’t getting fatter. The extreme maximum-capacity tow and payload ratings Ford’s waving as “Best In Class” nebulously apply to a very specific configuration of the vehicle that very few customers will actually buy. My point is, those specs don’t matter.”

Agreed. Just because you or I or anyone else has an appreciation for these things doesn’t mean we are any less “car-people” than others. Hell I’d love to have an Alfa 4C sitting right next to the Tahoe in my garage, I’m strongly considering it.

It’s been over a year since I last commented here at Jalop, the negativity seemed to abound back then. Maybe it was some Gawker steerage sneaking over here or something.... Anyway I’m a day late on this but my unnecessary infatuation with big body GM SUV’s warrants a return for an excuse to post a picture of my Tahoe.

I hope it comes with a Sport package that has things guys like; like rims and more sleekness to the body. Ideally this would include something that keeps the car more grounded to the ground as well.

Sunday Cup, is that you?

I'm up for it!

Much appreciated!
