Throw one of these in a Model S and I’ll consider it.

Testicle jokes aside, I think French automotive design of old is extremely interesting and most certainly innovative. Even new French designs like the DS5 are notably unique in an overarching landscape of sameness.
Tust me, I may be an "ignorant American" as some see it, but I would have one of these beauties parked right next to my big diesel pickup and my M3.
At the end of the day, a Scion Supra would just be wrong. That, and I like hearing myself talk.
Ah touché, how could I forget those balls. Adjustable ones, no less!
Actually, there is. Especially in the 90’s era of over-engineered Toyotas. I don’t care if it’s a Tundra, a boring Camry, or a Supra; you hop in a 90’s to early 2000’s Toyota and all you feel is quality. I digress a bit.
Unfortunately, a lot.
Yes sir, the one pictured is the civilian version!
Haha agreed.
Serious question: Did they have balls in the first place?
Oh good call on the task thing! I think this will be more fun than originally expected. I’ll start working things out and talking to people.
Yeah I’ll definitely announce it over on Oppositelock. I have some good friends with serious video skills and access to free GoPros, so hopefully I’ll be able to document it well.
Daayyyummmm ssonnnnnn!
Yes! 70 horsepower + RWD + a desire to win = a ridiculously good time.
Totally agree. I’ve driven several GMT900 trucks like yours, as well as the new Fords, and I can’t really make out a distinguishable difference between the ride quality of the two. So, if comfort is the only reason behind GM’s IFS, then it’s already defeated. Besides, I prefer the ride of a truck to a luxury car any…
AND, here in Austin, if you don’t want to drive your car or ride in one of the many different and adequately appointed cabs, you can just hop in a Crapcan2Go! Uh, I mean Car2Go!
Completely agree.
That’s a sweet beast, but I don't understand why GM continues to stand by its IFS setup on HD trucks. 4 wheel drive Duramax's love eating tie rods.
A lot of us, especially here in Texas, do care to some notable degree about what our trucks look like. These new GM trucks, to me, look incredible gimmicky and complicated. The worst feature is the new headlights. Wow.
I think it’s more a matter of our perception of technology. We’ve become almost expectant of new and previously mind-blowing advancements; so much so that almost nothing surprises or wows us.
