These review embargoes are getting out of hand.

I’ve never seen anyone praise Mononoke primarily for its action/violence, which makes sense considering the movie pretty consistently portrays bloodshed as tragic and pointless. Hell, even the deaths of the two murderous samurai at the start are portrayed as unnecessary and horrifying.

That picture makes me think of the Twilight Zone episode “Eye of the Beholder”:

This list was written to start a war.

They all sound disgusting to me too. You’re not alone here. :)

All disgusting. Some things are not meant to taste like other things. You just cannot season a chip to taste like biscuits and gravy properly. So, in attempting to do so, it just tastes nasty.

It’s interesting how the popularity of a game used to be it’s ranking on sales charts and how it’s moved to Let’s Plays and watching said broadcasts.

Sounds like he pulled pieces of paper with random words written on them out from a bowl.

for my money, i want sesquipedalian. in all seriousness, this is the “gothic” guys..i am hoping they have gotena little better as they always seem jsut at the cusp of making amazing wrpgs, but they always undercommit just a little.

This sounds awesome. Any reason you’re trashing the game so extensively?

They made The Last of Us two years ago, which wasn’t that long ago. That was something new.

This was jaw dropping. stop it.

Because it’s Uncharted 4. If it wasn’t Uncharted people would complain that it was too different from Uncharted. And you cannot compare it to CoD because Uncharted games are years apart. This one is what, 4-5 apart.

Not this again. 99.9% of all sequels contain the base gameplay design of the original. The “nothing new” argument is absolutely irrelevant.

This is far more of an improvement than any Call of Duty. These types of games are all about the experience. This is just a better experience. And unlike rehash-type games, they aren’t being fucking lazy. They’ve genuinely found ways to improve the game. It’s not just completely linear now and it’s more fun to play.

Your point? It makes for a more fun Uncharted game.

1. Video game

Depends on the store. My local store is filed with great people that help you work the system if they can. They're great people, gamers, and most of all, fed up with all the bullshit too. One of the employees actually recommends not picking up pre-order games until reviews come in.

Preach on! I just received my $62 copy of Arkham Knight Limited Edition from that nutty Walmart “sale.”
