How out of touch am I. The first thing I thought when I saw her photo was, "Kelly Clarkson is blonde?!"

I think people are way overestimating what Liz Taylor looked like at the time.

I wonder if these will cost $300-$600 like the previous iterations of the brand did.
If the holiday is important to the person you're with, then just celebrate it with them. Because it's a nice thing to do, and it doesn't hurt you to make them happy. It's an excuse to do something special, and sometimes people need an excuse. No one says that Mother's Day means you only have to love your mother one…
My problem starts at the point where people are purchasing a batch meat which comes from multiple animals, and they can't even get a single type of animal in the concoction. This is why outbreaks are so difficult to control. One cow (or apparently miscellaneous horse) will contaminate how many hundreds of product? …
Lentils. They're a very good source of iron and protein, they're inexpensive and extremely versatile. They're also very easy to cook. One of my favorites, particularly with celery root:
That happened with a coworker. She was lamenting her trouble finding bras so I recommended a store that has an expansive variety of band and cups run D-K, no smaller. I told her it was a great place to shop and she said, "well how would YOU know? You're what, a B?" 32F, then she called me a liar and said she used…
UHG! That damned body spray that smells like jolly ranchers and plastic and the worst ones will grab your arm and start spraying without even asking. "Here, try this."
Simone Perele is my absolute favorite brand, but I've got a few La Perla bras. I've found some of their Es run large and are no problem for my Fs. I'm seconding the comment about contacting management. High end bra store are usually all about customer service and no one should be treated poorly. I'm sorry that…
La Perla makes a good range of sizes. I buy their Es and a friend likes their As and we all have a good time. If you like La Perla, check out Nordstrom's discount rack, they usually have a few of that brand on sale for $45-$90 (which is still expensive, but also 75% off)
I've bought a few 32E and they're actually pretty filmy. I think it depends when you manage to catch the designs, because some seasons nothing looks delicate. They also seem to be cut with a slightly fuller cup, which makes me happy because I'm usually an F but their E is no problem!
Having a trans-vaginal ultrasound to "take care" of a uterus is like having an MRI when getting a physical. It'll give you information, but in most circumstances it's just overkill.
This would be why I always throw in an extra dollar per drink.
It's my understanding that flat rate no frills tips start at 15%, and I usually throw in a few extra bucks if the server is pleasant which rounds up to 18%. 10% is a LOW tip, and I've never heard anyone argue that 20% should be the baseline standard.
I take more issue with the fact that, even if you do a great job as a server, there's still going to be people who don't feel like tipping or who only throw a dollar on the table. It's a no win situation.
Washington, Nevada, California, Oregon, Alaska, Montana and Minnesota. It's $7-$9 per hour across the board except in Minnesota, where our state minimum wage is $6.15
California, Nevada, Oregon, Alaska, Washington and Minnesota would disagree with you. These states require that servers get minimum wage and do not allow tip credit. And yet, all these states still have restaurants and all those restaurants still have waitstaff.
Absolutely. Fabric bra cups are usually constructed of two or more pieces that create a little balcony for the breast to rest in, anchored to the band generally around an underwire. The cup holds its shape because of the way it's constructed and the material used (a non-stretchy fabric, lace or mesh). The band…
European bras. Foam-free! The molded cup never really caught on over there. I don't have to worry about the weird slightly smushed styrofoam cup that is the dreaded t-shirt bra, where the cup is shaped more like the idea of a breast than an actual breast. I'll take well constructed netting over wearing a slightly…
