I wonder about that too. I count everything my boyfriend and I do once we start as part of "The Sex we are Having," not just one very specific move.

Sure they do, they just refuse to call them "chick flicks." What endless number of guys can quote from Jerry Maguire? Titanic? When Harry Met Sally? Movies become regular ol' movies once they're "too good to be called chick flicks." Yes, lot's of rom-coms are ridiculous and stupid, but we don't call ridiculous…
Boyfriend was a groomsman in his sister's wedding a few months back. I couldn't go because it was an expensive trip (his entire family is in Brazil), but I saw photos. Of him waltzing in a tux. Oh my! <3
I first saw my boyfriend cutting an impressive figure in a suit, towering 11 inches above me. Yeah, the height made a great first impression and I can't say I wasn't attracted to it, but without all the other wonderful non-height-related-things about him, I wouldn't love him.
Strangely omitted from the Jez write up, but the women weren't necessarily told it was birth control, simply some kind of "inoculation" that they would take every three months and it was required. News sources seem to conflict a lot over how well the women were informed what the shot actually was.
"Israel has admitted for the first time that it has been giving Ethiopian Jewish immigrants birth-control injections, often without their knowledge or consent."
I've gotten my first two white hairs and I pluck them. I PLUCK THEM TO KINGDOM COME. The little bastards had the audacity to show up in the middle of my right eyebrow. That is not an ok place to be. I'm sort of looking forward to having a head of thick, snow white hair like my grandmother, just please don't start…
I've been saying this for years.
I try to give the benefit of the doubt. The two most child-proficient women I know don't have children: a nanny and a former nanny, now early childhood educator. So I pretty much stopped reading at "pawning off on a fucking nanny."
We only get Janine's (original letter's author) interpretation of Doris, and it sounds like a familiar one. But not in the way Janine thinks.
OP did say "anything Love released," just shooting for accuracy.
When I saw that episode I just started yelling "whut?!" at my computer in ever increasing volume every 2 minutes. Uhg.
It's Courtney's solo album, it has everything to do with this, and it also didn't crack the top 10 anywhere. 200,000 US, 250,000 worldwide was considered a commercial failure, especially for Courtney in '04. Meanwhile, Bush was HUGELY successful when they came out, so saying "his band never did that well" is just…
I didn't quite expect the sales to blow Courtney that much out of the water, but I knew Bush did really well when they first came out.
RESEARCH TIME! "Sixteen Stone" went platinum 6 times in both Canada and the United States, so that's 12 million+ sales.
I'm the same way. I've tried looking for different kinds, but nothing in the plastic world that most mainstream pornography presents is appealing and a lot of indie stuff is ridiculous. Watching other people have sex doesn't do anything for me. Mostly it makes me feel uncomfortable or silly. I get side-eye…
Freud's painting is weird but it's one that I can look at for a while. I'm not entirely sure what her expression is but I like the heavy brushstrokes.
I hear she had croissants and pickles in the same day, she must be pregnant!
Actually the second one is the St. Louis' Cathedral at Les Invalides, who's diocese was the military. Notre Dame and St. Louis are both *historical* cathedrals though, neither has a parish now (and neither performs weddings, sorry Halle!).
If you're going to call yourself an Art Historian and make a pedantic statement about the use of the word "cathedral," then I expect you to get the number of Cathedrals in Paris right. I don't think there's anything wrong with the OP being wrong, and people shouldn't be snotty about it, but that doesn't make OP less…
