I think you can buy the entire season on amazon for like $25. This way you will own the show always and not pay CBS all-access fees.

The Good Wife annoyed me. I still can’t put my finger on why. I watched several episodes of the first season and she was just annoying. However, The Good Fight, I plan time on my calendar to binge watch. I love that show.
My grandmother cleaned houses my entire childhood (and hell half of hers). A few years ago, I was too ashamed to let the family know that the house got so out of hand and I resorted to a cleaning service. I freaked out and made everyone pre-clean the house every time before they came. The kids were sworn to…
It astounds me when I see parents in public pushing their 5+-year-old kid around in a stroller. I got rid of the stroller within a month of my kids learning to walk,..
Why do people like that get so surprised when they find out you don’t agree? What makes them think the person sitting next to them is automatically onboard with their bullshit?
Sure, but that’s in no way exclusive to white folk. Know what I would have done? Walked away. I’m not engaging in a conversation with willfully ignorant racists and I’m not going to ask anyone else to either.
Loved the Almighty Johnson. The surfing granddad was hilarious.
Y’all have room for a 3rd. I love me some Australian TV. Rake is fabulous. If you want a drama, A Place to Call Home is pretty good and it is set in the Australian countryside. The first few seasons of McCleod’s Daughters was really good (it kinda went off the rails after the original main stars left the show. Then…
OT - I have Acorn (and of course, Netflix, Amazon and PBS), but not Britbox. Do you like it? I saw it show up on my Roku and I was like, huh will you have the same thing as my beloved Acorn?
I forgot about Scott & Bailey. I watched the first season on Hulu. I need to get back to that one.
Shetland was great. I loved the dynamic between the dads and the stories were really interesting.
Grantchester is another good mystery show. It is about a vicar that is an ex-soldier in (again) the English countryside. It is set in the 50s.
‘Happy Valley’, while dark and violent, was simply a brilliant series: great acting, great writing, great use of setting as character.
I second the nomination of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries! Terrific heroine, only light violence shown, and any misogynist characters are firmly dealt with. She’s the baddest flapper in all of 1920s Melbourne (and her outfits are also beyond fab).
I personally love banging dudes and am even capable of doing so without looking to them for validation and feeling bad about myself after sex.
Wow. This seems really sad. I am a woman that really enjoys sex with men. It is not about validation, it is about pleasure. I know some women that don’t enjoy sex at all, some that like having sex with women and others that only find real pleasure through masturbation. There are many variations. It is up to the woman…
I didn’t get an engagement ring. my husband proposed with health insurance. I had just quit my job and we were looking at insurance options, he got down on one knee and said “How about if I add you to mine?”
In Judaism it’s traditional for both parents to walk the bride down the aisle, and both parents to walk the groom as well.
I’m on the fence regarding engagement rings because the whole premise is really icky if you dig,
Down the street from me there’s a Chase directly across the street from another Chase. Oh and a Randall’s, Kroger, HEB, Walmart, Target, Sam’s, and Costco all within about a mile of each other.
