Once they got a bit older, they have the same friends year after year, so you really get to know the parents well.

I totally understand. I am a single parent with lots close family and I still willed my kids legally to my sister. I have a friend that willed her daughter to her best friend and then to me as a secondary.

What bothers me about Mike Pence is that these things probably include business lunches which means that he won’t dine with colleagues who are women. This mean that he is literally denying women a seat at the table for doing the business of government.
