To me, it's what follows those words that determines whether I'd engage the person in conversation or lose a sliver of my hope in humanity.

As a guy and a feminist, i can definitely see a bit of myself in all of these various types, if i look over my personal development up until this point. Of course, that doesn't mean all men would "evolve" with time (few humans do), but it does mean these tiers aren't as static as subtext might unintentionally imply to

Now, this is just lazy journalism! You round up all the "Treksperts" one can shake a Bat'leth at, but completely forgo talking to the Chief Engineer of the Federation!

LED strips with a fast shift should do it. Just attach them to a black background, get them timed just right and you've got the best you can get. ^_^

There's a lot of huge problems preventing such a scenario...

This is awesome, but "jpeg" NASA!? Really NASA, really!?

Unless all of these stories are extremely short, I doubt the downloadable ebook contains many of the 26 listed stories on its 32 pages. In fact, the link you provided seems to be stating that the ebook is merely a sample and that i have to use their list to find the stories on their site, which kinda ruins the point

I don't actually think he's looking for a robot, though, as much as he's looking for a gender-swapped clone of his that can shut up. If he just spend 10% of his time making that clone, he should have finished by now and taken that atrocity of an ad down.

No time like the present. ^_^ Google for something nice or just make you own (like i did).

Ah, okay. ^_^

I highly doubt they've scrapped it, since tens of billions of dollars have been invested in glass-less 3D screen technology since 2012. Not to mention that Samsung expanded they 3D research facility and bought up hundreds of patents in 2014, while Sony started work on concurring the mobile market for glass-less 3D

Maybe you should actually spend 5 minutes getting to know what you're talking about, because that "600hz" kinda busted you, since it's an old marketing gimmick only people who know nothing about screens fall into.

Actually no, that would be impossible. Even if every human being on earth reached 0% body fat, "skinny" people still be a minority, as only those with low muscle mass and some height would technically be "skinny". Even if you've got 0% body fat and very low muscle mass, you'd just have to be short of stature to look

I laughed my ass off while it blew my mind, so completely agree. ^_^

So that's what s/he meant?

I'm not on Tumblr, so I'm not sure i get the reference. And all i know about Tumblr, is that its membership base is primarily moody teens who can't write, cat enthusiasts and pervs, none of which really fit what you're commenting on.

*read in the most monotone voice possible*

Humans even named a horror movie franchise "Alien", as if that the most frightening title anyone could ever spot on a movie poster!

That's actually a matter of personal preference, and history has many examples of warriors who chose one-sided arm armor, especially among women and Ancient Greco-Roman warriors.

Had they hired me, i would do minimalistic propaganda posters, to give moviegoers the sense they were going to see an old-school wartime documentary.
