I am conflicted.

I'm pretty sure people demand it on every post on the subject. I haven't seen it addressed. It's reached the point where I'm assuming that they aren't allowed to discuss it, by a Gawker-wide mandate of silence.

...and someone who works for an organization that posted Hulk Hogan's sex-tape without his consent (a tape which was also recorded without his consent or knowledge) and then boasted about leaving it up despite a judge ordering them to take it down.

I seriously think there's a huge shift, in other areas as well, towards accepting some feminist ideals. There have been plenty of athletes convicted of domestic abuse but never a shit storm quite like this one. It seems like every day I see an anti-cat-calling post on Facebook. There is a ton of momentum around

Has anyone else noticed a huge shift in how the media covers this? I remember four or five years ago when a photo of Vanessa Hudgens leaked my local new station showed a "censored" version during the coverage. The media coverage of it was probably responsible for 90% of the photo's exposure. And the public consensus

I agree that it's definitely questionable when people do things where the goal is simply to raise awareness that the disease exists. Yeah, we all know that breast cancer is a thing. I get annoyed about that too.

I have an idea, how about any time an NFL player gets arrested for domestic violence, rape, child abuse, murder, gang shootings, or any other bullshit where they are accused of hurting another human being, they automatically get suspended. If the charges are dropped or they are found innocent, they get reinstated

Pity all this stuff is still quite taboo because it would seem theres alot of people wanting to be more ethical consumers when it comes to porn etc but I never see it on the websites with the advice on organic veg and ethical clothing, seems like a big part of life to ignore particularly since people and their

Ladies and gentlemen: we have found him. It's the worst boyfriend in the world.

I'm curious how she discovered this clip. Out of the tens of millions of clips, she finds this one?

In the future, everyone will have dirt-paintings on their face.

In what fathomable circumstance would a person ask for consent if they themselves did not consent to what they were asking?? Asking for consent is giving consent.

Without trying to derail too much though, are you positive before doing those things that your partner is consenting as well? I would hope that you know before you start grabbing at someone's genitals that they actually want you to do that.

What if I put a woman's hand on my penis? Is that nonverbal consent, or is it rape?

Taking his hand and placing it in your underwear....you're going to jail lady.

I think people are missing the point here: A small number of people tried to download the pics, contracted a virus, and impacted everyone who uses the ISP. So that's like if you had Comcast internet, 1% of Comcast users tried to see the pictures and got the virus, and then as a result, you couldn't use the internet.

Team Cat Headquarters here,

Gawker: Morality is something we judge, not have.
