I have mercifully been away from the internet for the past few days and so I wasn't aware of this whole nude pic thing until today. Of course there's a lot of misogynist bullshit going on (e.g. the asshole "artist" in this post), but it is kind of heartening to see that a lot of people are taking this a lot more

Ok, I'd really like an answer from Gawker Media about this. You all are up in arms about this invasion of privacy, calling everyone who posts these photos disgusting and other names. Yet, GM is notorious for posting pictures that were leaked or hacked as well.

I am so, so, so very sorry but this from a country that let that Rotherham bullshit go down for more than a fucking decade, and not to mention the other pedo shit falling out of the BBC - WTF?

We here in the UK do this and then British GQ give Kim Kardashian "Woman Of The Year" and Tony Blair "Philanthropist" of the year....What the fuck UK!?

There is a strong whiff of left-wing censorship on gawker sites. Not a fan. (BTW, I'm a liberal, for what that's worth.)

Same principle as when men are raped — they become a joke or an embarrassment for being unable to prevent their own violation.

so why is no one making posts about the men who were affected by this? justin verlander is getting made fun of, unlike the female celebrities, and i'm sure scott speedman isn't thrilled there are photos of him with an ex girlfriend out. Does the blogosphere's empathy only go one way?

Let's stipulate that the leakers are criminals and jackasses and deserve what they will probably get. But let's not be naive — some of the victims have built a career by cultivating a fanbase focused on physical attraction. The obsession with their looks and body (thinking Kate Upton here) is the fundamental basis of

I'm no Redditor/MRA but a critique of Gawker Media here doesn't seem irrelevant to me.

Why would Gawker do that?

The reddit mods aren't on a moral crusade, they're just terrified of having to contend with an army of Hollywood lawyers. Thats the only reason they were blocking the photos as fast as they could take their hands off their dicks to click Save and Block.

what they're doing, they are like cave women waiting for caveman to bonk them on the head and drag them into the caves by the hair. That's who they are. They're the ones putting us back into the stone ages."

My friends and I were pretty much constantly pulling out the Encyclopedia Brittanica to look at the anatomy pages.

Are we not doing phrasing anymore?? (Archer Season 5 joke)

It seems like they added makeup to her with photoshop. Is this normal?

I think she looks pretty in both, but that hair looks flat out like straw in the unretouched ones.

That nerdy girl is just a hot chick with glasses on, not even remotely equivalent to the nerdy guy in the real GoDaddy ad.
