I’m tired of this nepotism obsession. I just don’t care. There’s no such thing as a “self-made person.” Everyone has had some help, or just pure luck, along the way. I think it scares people that life is totally random, and even if you bust your ass, you still might not get anywhere.

Turns out unsubstantiated allegations that never lead to any charges let alone convictions, especially where there is at least some indication that it was an attempt at extorting someone who was just a weird dude isn’t enough to cancel someone.

How do you go back and work for someone that has directly proven to you, in public, how much of an a-hole he really is.

Chris Rock: “I have the right to publicly humiliate a woman in front of all her professional colleagues and the world via a television broadcast because once, a few years ago, I didn’t like her tone with me.”

Chris Rock has rarely, if ever, had a good thing to say about a black woman, and y’all stay caping for his raggedy ass.  Same dude who dogged his black wife.  Same dude who decided to deny the child they were in the process of adopting.  Same dude defending the british royals against Meghan Markle saying wondering

Tiresome. Everything about this is tiresome.

Chris has always been on the lower end of funny to me, I’ve always felt he caters to a “certain audience” at the expense of another “certain audience”.

Also not a lawyer, but this would seem to abridge the freedom of speech.

I know the comments section here has become a dumpster fire, but the very first comment mainsplaining on a story about sexual assault was not on my bingo card.

Still needing that hug, man?

That’s a real shame, as I honestly enjoyed this movie a lot.

That’s awesome news.

I wouldn’t criticize Crawford for her choice overextend herself for her job.

You’re not alone, I really enjoyed both Love and Thunder and Multiverse of Madness.

The whole “the MCU is now failing” thing seems like such a forced, fabricated media narrative.

Just like Love and Thunder, I saw this movie before anyone could tell me I was supposed to not like it. So now I’m stuck having the wrong opinion about it, as dictated by society. Sorry, I guess.

I feel like while the visuals in Quantumania are stunning, as a lower-tier film for Marvel it’s hard to justify the cost and effort to do such impressive work. And by that I mean it’s not one of the big team-up movies and I think most people would agree that Ant-Man isn’t one of the most popular superheroes.

Antman 3 almost beat the first two movies opening weekends domestically combined.  Maybe what’s wrong is expectations and snobbish American movie goers.

I mean personally I’m way more stoked for multiversal shenanigans, Kang, the whole MCU getting ripped apart and put back together, etc... than I was for Iron Man 2 or whatever you’re being nostalgic about.

(MCU diehard) serious question, does anyone actually want to see this?
