Playing 86 more games at a mediocre level is the point of the article. If he’s in the same class as Matt Ryan, and no one can even deny that, then why isn’t he being given the latitude to be mediocre?

No, I didn’t Cherry pick stats. I’ve been fair about it. They’ve both been MVPs. They both lost Superbowls. Cam does, in fact, have a Heisman and National Championship. They both have similar ratings.

Boy is that cherry picked. Cam is a run threat. In New England, he went 7-8 as a starter with 592 rushing yards and 12 rushing TDs. Can you name a single wide receiver from that Pats season who has ever done anything anywhere else? Jacobi Meyers was the best receiving option on that team that went 7-8 BTW.

Matt Ryan has played in 234 games while Cam Newton has played in 148. Of course he has more yards and TDs. The difference is that Matt Ryan got respect and was allowed to QB the Falcons to a bunch of empty stats. The great Matt Ryan hasn’t had a winning season since 2017, and has only had 7 winning seasons out of 14.

Cam Newton won a national title and Heisman.

Zach Wilson, Davis Mills, Taylor Heinicke, Matt Ryan, Marcus Mariota, Sam Darnold, Andy Dalton, and Baker Mayfield all started games last season. Cam has accomplished more than any of those players, and he is probably a better player right now.

After seeing the movie and reading up on it, It was a middling movie that generated middling positive profits. I don’t really understand why people won’t leave The Rock alone about it.

The problems started with AT&T who completely screwed everything up. They took on a mountain of debt to overpay for the brand. After taking on the massive debt, the CEO wanted a massive increase in content. He criticized Disney because, “Who want to watch Mary Poppins 100 times”, told HBO they weren’t profitable…

The police and legal system knew all this and yet, he was acquitted.  You weren't there.  You don't know.  Stop listening to TV shows and people who attacked a dead man when he couldn't dispute it.

It actually does mean he’s innocent. It was alleged, it was investigated, and he was acquitted. He’s not my hero. I just understand how the legal process works.  It means more than your opinion.

Will Smith being wrong does not make Chris Rock right. Chris Rock has been very problematic for a very long time. The Root pointing that out is not the problem.
